2025-05-10 10:46:28 +0000 UTCEveryone is always so obsessed with The Last of Us, and how that’s Naughty Dog’s best series, but it has always irked me because Uncharted came first and is arguably the better of the two, in my opinion. The storytelling, the sarcastic humor, the found family, the romance. I cry every time I get to the end of Uncharted 4 because I love these characters so much, and it feels like a loss every time the credits roll. TLOU is great, Troy Baker is great, but Uncharted & Nolan North are GREAT. They walked so TLOU could run. I love that you’re loving this series so much, it feels like you get *it*. I’ve waited so long for you to get to #4 and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of it!

Its a great reference to show how far naughty dog has come. Also I think that the combat mechanics are greatly influenced on TLOU, part 1 at least. And also its crazy how free the game makes you feel while playing, not being an open world game, and I sometimes miss those games that are linear, but makes you want to go forward like this one.

I did say that you didn't need to, but I was wrong. Glad you didn't take my advice as you seem to enjoy this franchise much more now. I do have to ask, are you planning on watching Lost Legacy after this one? It's another part of the franchise that links right back to the 4 main games.
