A quick summary of the $5+ post information:
-Found a mistake in the code so had to redo a lot of work
-To catch up on said work I had to copy and paste a lot of code, so expect more bugs than usual
-Next week I will release a v0.56 when this build goes public that fixes the bugs and fully implements the new event system
-You will not need to restart the game from now on as you should be able to use your save files hopefully without any problems

Ill fix this soon, but Try the 0.56 version, which is the public version it's the most up to date too.
