July Wrap up!

Hey guys!

Sorry for the few and far between updates - I've been super busy working and traveling to conventions. My main goal this month was to make sure I had all my con stuff prepped for the next few months, as well as get out Patreon mail and Group 1 badges in a timely manner.

This left me very little time to do art sadly. While at conventions I tried my best to focus on badge group 2 sketches and inks. For now, I've got MOST of group 2 inked with flat colors. If you're in Group 2, expect emails going out today and tomorrow for approval! 

Just as a note, I've officially closed my Blizzcon badge form for Patreon for the year. If you're interesting in my progress, feel free to check my Trello! 

Going forward, I plan to only post here on Patreon once or twice a month -  most mini updates and sketches will actually be on my Discord server. (If you prefer NOT to be in Discord, that's okay! All sketches and art will be compiled into large updates mid/end of month.)

As most of you have seen, July's pin was Frost Lich Jaina! I had a lot of trouble with the factory on this pin, and I will most likely have to get her mold remade in the future if I plan to restock her. I hope you all love her just the same though. :) 

She's a hard enamel pin, however she has some soft enamel details. Why is that? Originally the blue was to be glow in the dark, but the factory had messed up the coloring. Instead of completely redoing the pins however.. I believe they just picked out the glow in the dark bits.. and refilled it with the blue enamel! Hopefully I'll get around to my pin tutorial soon, and with it, I'll include a list of manufacturers to avoid (like this one) Live and learn, right? :P 

Below is a collection of sketches from this month! Most of Badge Group 2, some new pin ideas for Blizzcon, some chibi Final Fantasy VII girls, thumbnails of paintings, and some sketches of my wow characters. :)

August will again be a busy month for me. I have 2 weeks before my next convention, Kentokyocon! Thankfully its a local convention for me, but the following week I'll be heading to Morgantown, WV for WV Pop Con. I'll be trying to finish up some mini prints over the course of the month, a Gargoyle's 'zine print, and I'll also be finalizing my pins for Blizzcon.

Digital Files and discount codes should go out later today, and all Patreon mail has been shipped! Hopefully all of you receive it soon. :)
