Mermaid Enamel pin colors

I've still yet to check the colors in a pantone books, which I plan to do soon. I'm mostly worried about how the skin tones will come out, so lots of checking will have to be done.
I'm undecided at the moment if I'd like to do gold plating or keep the metal black. I think the black plating would suit my art a little better, what do you guys think? :)
Ideally, I'd like to do a mini kickstarter to help me get these made, with the little whale pin(s) as a stretch goal. I'm currently waiting on a response from my pin supplier to get a price on the mold fee and the unit price per pin.
