I recently bought a set of Shinhan watercolors and finally got a chance to test them out properly! I'm a bit rusty with watercolors, and while these aren't the best in terms of quality, I think they did alright! Its a very budget brand, but you honestly can't beat the price for this kind of quality. I'm pretty happy with these.
Other tools used were Sepia and Sakura Pink Copic liners, Stabilo point 88 markers, and a sakura white gel pen. They were painted on regular Canson XL watercolor paper.
I've also gotten a set of Mission Gold Watercolors , another Korean brand! They were a bit more expensive, but highly recommended to me so I'm going to hopefully test those out next.
Ideally I'd like to start doing small, little watercolor paintings of cute things to sell at conventions or on Etsy. I used to sell ACEOs in the past, and they were pretty fun to do! Maybe some WoW pets and things. :) Planning to just keep them small and semi affordable, perhaps around $20-$30 each.
Anyway! 3 of these mermaids will be sent off with those of you in the art collector tier. I hope you guys like them! The last one may be kept and sold on Etsy or taken to a convention with me. :)
