Added 2021-10-31 19:54:46 +0000 UTCI had plans on delivering today, but as usual I get so sucked into developing that I find myself adding a few new things.
Today, my focus is on expanding the world of HF in general, in particular with Ryoko. She seems moody, set in her ways and indifferent. But what if that wasn't the case at all?
After some of the latest events unfold in the game, it's clear that there's much more to her than meets the eye. This also comes in the form of a few side characters being introduced, if only through memories.
As you can see, Ryoko is much younger in the image and next to her are two other Nekomata. Who are they?
I don't want to spoil too much, so I'll just leave you with these images, both of which have a few hints contained within:
As far as 1.0 releasing, I believe it would be best to extend the deadline a bit to the3rd (Nov). My goal is to expand each character's # of events by 7-10, as well as further extend the main story (which I've already done and will continue to do). So far it's going great -- and when I get inspiration for backstory such as this I really can't help myself.
Lately I've I worked on improving my workflow as well. I generally start with fixes and features first-- then testing and bug fixing. Finally I add the new story based elements. Working in this way I won't have any last minute bugs and I can guarantee smoother releases. Once I get a handle on just how much content I can make in a given time, I'll finally be able to hit the release dates I aim for. Nice right?
It took a while, but I've found my groove and I'm on the final leg of that process now. Oh, and Happy Halloween!
