I'm out of chemo, yeehaw. getting the scans back wasn't as big of a climatic moment as I thought it would be, I guess I still have misconceptions of what recovering from cancer really is. its less of 'you're CURED!!' and more of 'the bad stuff is continuing to trend downward and we'll keep testing you for the next three years,' which is a little less exciting to share. But I did react as good to chemo as possible, from what I was told, so I think I was very lucky and I'll return to a normal life. I'm still dealing with the physical trauma from my back surgery, which is a whole thing, and it definitely affects my workflow, but I think with proper exercise that will also approach normal with time.
basically I should be getting more done as time goes on. very thankful for the invention of chemotherapy, which I now both fear and respect like god. That shit is crazy.
