‘Splurt—!’
“Gah—!”
In the very next instant, a white knight’s lance erupted from Otto’s chest, crimson blood spraying in all directions.
“This… this can’t be… Why…?!”
Otto stared in disbelief at the weapon impaling him. “Why… why even you…?! Bianca… Durandal… Atagina!?”
“This isn’t betrayal, Overseer,” Durandal said coldly.
Standing behind him, she drove the lance even deeper into his body. “This is a decision made from my judgment—because it’s the right thing to do.”
“I believe that, right now, you are the most dangerous, most evil being in this world.”
“You… foolish woman—!”
Furious, Otto summoned the power of Void Archives. “Judgment of Shamash!”
A golden handgun materialized instantly in his hand. With a furious roar, he whirled around and aimed it at Durandal’s head. “Die, you traitor!”
‘Shing—!’
But before he could fire, Durandal ducked low with perfect timing.
Releasing her grip on the lance, she drew a hidden weapon embedded within it—a black knight’s sword.
Abyss Flower.
White Flower was a lance of unmatched healing power—but hidden within it, Abyss was a blade of pure death. Its power was absolute disintegration—the true essence of the Herrscher of Death!
‘CRACK!’
In one swift movement, Durandal closed in and completely avoided Otto’s shot.
Her sword flashed through the air.
And with a single devastating slash, she cut Otto clean in half.
“Kh… well, now that… was an unexpected ending…”
Otto’s blue eyes faded, his life force flickering like a dying flame.
“…Kallen…”
“…Kallen… my love… Kallen… Kallen…”
“Kallen… Kallen! KALLEN! KALLEN! KALLEN!!”
“KALLEN—!!!”
‘BOOOOM—!’
Suddenly, an overwhelming surge of Honkai energy burst from Otto’s broken body, knocking Durandal unconscious and hurling her across the battlefield.
Thankfully, Rita arrived just in time.
Ignoring the attacks of the Herrscher Kallen, she caught Durandal mid-air before she could fall from the floating battleship and be shattered against the earth far below.
“KALLEN! KALLEN! KALLEN!!”
Otto screamed, his voice filled with madness.
Though his body had been destroyed, he remained alive—sustained by Void Archives and boundless Honkai energy.
This man had long since abandoned his humanity—replacing himself with something akin to a Herrscher.
Liquid golden light poured out from the Void Archives, reforming Otto’s body before their eyes.
Even worse, the surrounding Honkai energy surged toward him like a black hole, gathering faster and stronger than any of them could stop.
Not even the Herrschers—beings made of Honkai—could resist the pull of such monstrous power.
This was no natural phenomenon.
This was technology from World Serpent—Otto’s twisted final version of the “Godslayer Lance.”
One by one, the Herrschers of Thunder, Reason, and the Void, and even the mimicry of Finality created through Fu Hua, collapsed to the ground.
The three frontline Valkyries couldn’t even stand back up.
Fu Hua, directly connected to the core of Honkai energy, had her Herrscher form forcibly stripped away—discarded like a tool, lying unconscious on the ground.
Now, raw Honkai energy formed a visible storm around Otto—raging, spinning, growing stronger by the second.
“So be it! So be it!!”
“I’ll do it myself!”
“Valkyries? Schicksal? Herrschers? All of it—nothing!”
“Trash. You're all just trash in the end!”
“But it doesn’t matter anymore! With my own hands, I’ll bring Kallen back!”
“And so—let everything burn!”
“Burn! Burn! Burn! BURN!”
“All of it—all that betrayed me—reduced to ashes in this storm of destruction!”
“I will become a god! The only true god on this planet!”
“You vile women—ALL OF YOU—DIE!”
“I AM—UNSTOPPABLE—!”
“Enough.”
“Die.”
‘Snap!’
‘WHOOOSH—!’
Instantly, the berserk storm of Honkai energy was blown away.
The world fell silent.
Otto’s eyes widened. His pupils shrank to pinpoints as utter disbelief twisted across his face.
“Wha… what…?!”
As the storm dispersed, Kagura stood upright on the scorched deck, her right hand still outstretched.
A prismatic flash shimmered and then faded.
Her arm had been completely charred black.
Red. Blue. Green. Orange. Gold. Violet.
The six Infinity Stones embedded in her gauntlet slowly lost their glow.
But the power they had unleashed… had already decided everything.
“What… is this power…”
Otto stared at his hands as they slowly crumbled to ash.
“This… this can’t be happening…”
Thus came the end.
Silence. Oblivion.
