Through the valley - Part 2

So roughly at the same time last year, I made a text post explaining my current situation concerning Patreon. (Linked HERE if you want to read it.)

Since then, my subscriber number has sunk even further. I don't blame anybody, as times can be rough and my content these last few months has felt a bit lackluster even to myself. I recently changed my work schedule up to bring more organization into my workflow and focus more on outstanding projects like my comic. That whole plan was working out for a couple of weeks, but the upcoming wedding is taking a toll and other expenses are piling up as well. So I need to focus more on earning money through YCH auctions and commissions.

For the future, I am looking at a new plan for my Patreon. I am not quite sure yet how I will adjust tiers and rewards, but my goal is to expand on my Blender skills and get into 3D animation. I've already made some headway in that regard and after having shied away from it for so long, I feel now confident that I can pull off some great stuff with it.

For now, I can't really promise any new projects or anything exciting that is coming to Patreon, but for those who stuck with me thus far, thank you very much for your support. And for those of you who stopped supporting me for one reason or the other, I hope that with this new direction, I can win you back in due time.

Thanks again.

I've been following/subscribing for some time, and I have no intention of changing that at this point. I've been consistently impressed by the quality, fun, and frequency of your work, even during the times when you say you're having a slump. Also: I didn't get around to saying so earlier, but major congratulations on the wedding. I am thrilled for both of you! That said, I've never heard of a wedding that wasn't at least somewhat stressful, especially during the preparation phase. If you need to focus on that at times, do so. It's a big milestone. Just remember that the marriage/relationship at the heart of it is what you're honoring and celebrating. The rest is icing on the cake.

Life happens, time is as limited a ressource as any. Can't do everything and be everywhere. You'll figure things out😘
