Pride Pride
Added 2021-06-15 22:28:58 +0000 UTCA pack of lions is called "Pride" for a reason.
Asyr and I came up with this idea together. He had shipped Shere Khan from Talespin and Scar from Lion King together for years now, even before we met. I had never gotten around to draw them and had forgotten about this idea until I saw Forge/TheWielder's picture series of a Shere Khan/Scar couple.
Not wanting to seem like I stole his idea, I asked him if he would be okay with me drawing the characters as well. I figured even though it is fanart, I still wanted to hear from him to acknowledge that he had been an inspiration as well. He was positive about it, so yay! :3
This has been a really fun experience, drawing these characters and also constructing the scene around them. I wasn't sure about coloring in the silhouettes of the surrounding crowd, but I think it works well. :3
