Year In Review - 2019

With another year almost over I'm doing my annual review again to highlight some of artwork and moments that happened in 2019. In total and excluding alternate versions, I have drawn a total of 96 pictures this year, with one still coming. That's quite an impressive number, if I do say so myself. :3

For a long time I was afraid that my output would dwindle, but it's been going steady for a while now. I think it's safe to say that I can take it easy for now and try to focus my energy on more elaborate projects, rather than trying to keep this number going even higher. In 2020 I will try to balance out commissions and personal projects more to explore new directions. We'll see how that works out. :3

My biggest advancement this year, art wise, was definitely the dive into animation. It's been quite an adventure so far, albeit not always a positive one. There's a sense of entitlement among some furries, that really got to me when I started out. The attitude of "demanding" a certain level of quality from someone who clearly had no prior experience in it, can get frustrating. Especially so if it is done behind one's back. I have moved past it for the most part however. I just wish that some people would rather focus on trying to improve an artist's work instead of tearing it down for their own amusement. Oh well.

In addition to animation, I also made my first Dakimakura design. So yay for that! :3 Plus, I'm finally trying more to include other characters of mine and not just my tigers. Although seeing as how many tiger pictures I included in this review, you wouldn't know that from just this picture. :P

And of course, emotionally, my biggest events were August and November: My proposal to my longtime tiger boyfriend Asyr, who is now my fiance and moving in with him.

I honestly couldn't be happier! :3 The immense support I have received from Asyr and everyone of my friends, family and fans has been nothing short of overwhelming. You guys are amazing! :3
