Big update! MUST READ!

I'm coming here to talk about some important stuff regarding some major changes in the way Fanbox will work from now on. This may take time, so I encourage you to read everything until the end.

Price update

I have been in FANBOX since August 2020 and the prices have been the same since then. However FANBOX uses the Japanese Yen and for the last 6 months the yen has been in a free fall. This means you can buy more yens with less dollars.

Right now Bronze has a set price of ¥110 JPY and Silver ¥540 JPY, which means $0.85 USD and $4.17 USD respectively with the current conversion rate, far from the $1 USD and $5 USD that were meant to be.

At this point you may already guess the issues this brings to me. For that reason I must update the prices for both Bronze and Silver that reflect the current conversion rate.

The new prices will be the following.

BRONZE: ¥150 JPY

SILVER: ¥680 JPY

As you can see the increase is marginal and more in line with the intended price.

However... this brings a few issues here in Fanbox. Once a tier is removed all the people in that tier are automatically unsubscribed from my Fanbox.

To avoid this situation I created a couple of new tiers that will replace the old ones. These tiers will coexist with the old ones until May 31st when I will remove them to keep the new ones.

New sharing mechanic

As you may know everytime I post something I leave a MEGA link that redirects to the unaltered version of my works. This method has been quite useful for a long time, but sadly is easily exploitable by leakers.

That's the reason I keep deleting links, because once the link is public or leaked I need to overwrite the original file and set up a new link.... try to do that in the dozens and dozens of pics for 2 different platforms and you will get why it is so tiresome.

So, I will have to change the way I share my work with you guys. You should be quite familiar with it since many artists ended up doing the same.

Every month, after the majority of pledges had been processed, I will set a link redirecting to a password protected MEGA folder that will include all the works in the month. This folder will be updated every time I post something new in the main feed.

In a different post I will write the different passwords for the different tiers, so you could open the folder and enjoy its content.

At the end of the month I will remove the link and start once again for the next month.

Art Archive

People are always asking for an archive... sounds good, doesn't? Well, not quite, considering the high ammount of leaks I had suffered only this year. For a leaker having all my shit in one single link is like a gift from the sky. Not going to happen, at least not to that extent.

I'm planning in set up an ARCHIVE for you guys, with my stuff fairly organized in one link, however, the archive will include only PUBLICLY RELEASED stuff, this includes uncensored and high resolution versions of illustrations, doodles, animations and comics, as well as very old stuff.

Additionally I will publicly post my stuff on a more regular basis, so that stuff gets included as soon as possible in that archive.

As of right now, I'm still working on it. I will try to bring a functional archive next month.I need to keep digging on the details... and basically curate all my works in an organized way.

For now! As you can see, there was a lot to unravel and most likely not the only thing that will change around here. I'm still thinking about stuff that can be improved. Please feel free to speak your mind, other perspectives can make me work better solutions.
