Patreon Updates: What’s Coming in September

Hello everyone,

Starting in September, we will have some changes to our Patreon.

Firstly, the current tier Chest will be renamed The Bannerman. Essentially, nothing changes here; we will continue developing the various army lines as we have been doing.

We will introduce a new tier called The Adventurer, where we'll bring you small collections dedicated to other themes. We’ll begin with a range of Vikings and farm animals that will be developed over a few months. Depending on your feedback, the content will change, but the idea is to keep it diverse and not commit to large ranges like the ones we have been working on so far.

We've decided to keep the scale standard we already have, with no intention of adapting to other brands on the market, making it easier for you to convert with our ranges.

You will also have a tier option to subscribe to both at the same time, ensuring there is no impact on loyalty rewards.

In the coming days, we'll start showing you WIPs (work in progress) of the new miniatures :)

I hope this new adventure will be as interesting for you as it is for us.

The problem with the classic 28 mm scale is that the miniatures are too small for the level of detail we want them to have. This is why we maintain our own format. Additionally, this section will cover a wide range of miniatures, and it would be very complicated to explain the scale of each item if we start modifying it. For the Vikings, we have opted for a plausible design, even if it is not the most standard representation. However, element by element, there is nothing that would have been impossible during the Viking era.

Last Sword Miniatures

Very nice mini, but that doesn't look 100% historical. But I don't care, looks very cool and will use them as marauders. For vikings and other early/late medieval inspired mini's I don't see a problem with using your own scale. But if you are doing Napoleonics, it's better to match as close as possible the scale that Perry, Victrix and Warlord use. Same as Piano Wargames Napoleonics are very good match with Perry plastics. About the dual subscription. Afaik, you can only be subscribed to one tier from a creator. So if you don't open another patreon page it seems impossible for longtime subscribers to keep their loyality months.
