Grail Shield

Hello everyone,
Today, I bring you the shields we are designing for the Grail Knights. On these, the heraldry of the Grail is displayed on the outside, while the knight's personal heraldry is kept inside the shield. We believe this is a beautiful way to represent the transition to a Grail Templar.

This is a very thematic choice for the intended setting and fits. Is it "practical" or "hyper realistic"? No, but neither are the giant parade helms with crests. It's very fitting to the setting, so well done on coming up with something creative and different - I'm a fan!

2024-04-06 00:12:55 +0000 UTCI like the idea, and find it really interesting, making the shield more resembling to a relic in its own. But as others told you, I would like a version without heraldry on the inside, so I can paint my own.
