High Kingdom Cannon

Our intention is to make 3 pieces, one firing, one loading and the last one destroyed. If we have time it will be accompanied by an engineer and some cover.
Do you have a preference for the engineer's equipment? Or do we do it by aiming the cannon?

The idea is that we have different cannon mouths. The shield itself is a bit of a problem. Separating it involves a very small piece, and it is also very easy to deform it, making it a bad fit. the shooting part, you have to study it well. It also depends a lot on the crew.

2022-03-07 11:11:08 +0000 UTCThis cannon is awesome! I'm wondering if the shield can be made as a separate part to allow for different emblems to be used on different cannons? I guess your notion of the cannon firing might be a separate piece too so it can be magnetized and placed when fired?

2022-03-07 01:01:54 +0000 UTCJust throwing ideas out (no expectation that any or all will be created): cannon ball piles, wad screw, ramrod, botefeux, bucket, alternate ammo types in piles or crate (chain shot for example). Some of these are best modeled in the hand of the engineers / crew. Gabions are nice, as are crates - generic to most artillery - maybe as part of a scenic set someday if not now?
