I am on the fence with this debate. Often many female miniatures are overly sexualised. However, compared to many other designers, Last Sword have much less sexualised models. That being said, Jared made a good point, it would be nice to see some female models mixed in with more regular units, with then being both of the same style (e.g - basic spearmen troop with same armour, but some are female and have slightly different armour/proportions to suit).

En realidad destacan bastante los pezones, siendo que no es lo central del modelo. Tal vez podría ir con otros adornos en la parte de los pechos. Sin embargo el modelo completo está muy bonito. Saludos!

Most of their female releases have been no tiddy clothed women? They have also made 2/3 entire units of armored female elves for their Kickstarter way back. Go take a look at their site if you can't handle a tit or two.

Mikkelangelo Kers

There could be. The 9th is community made. So you can add whatever you want.

Jon Letham

My question is: What do I use this model for? Is there a unit of it in 9th?

Thomas Wieczorek

I am now noticing that most of the time women have been depicted in this patreon their breasts have been out or their armor has had nipples. Do better.

Jared Danker

And just stating, I am a big supporter of the work coming out of this company. Just because I care how women are depicted in a male dominated hobby does not mean I am a “hater”

Jared Danker

As with that faun model, please do not listen to the individuals telling you to change your artwork just to please their whims.

C

Or is there a chance that you offer them for sell, too?

Bhaal72516

Definitely think she looks better when surrounded by her cohorts, I couldn’t see an option for STLs on the Kickstarter? Have they been up on here and I joined late?

Philip Rimmer

wow know i get why our hobby gets so many calls of being fat beards. its art dont cry about it like it love it but dont whinge like kids damn.

Clay William Barry Dudfield

You guys release so many models each month and people wanna whinge about one? This is still by far the best quality and value miniatures patreon out there! Tbh I’m amazed you guys only have 500 subs as your work is on par with the likes of titan forge

David Taggart-Atkinson

Ignore the haters. If every 10 models they have to ignore one release, that's fine.

The star is, together with the tree, the queen's emblem. It is worn by her banners and most of her guards. It also has a practical function. Painting a rounded metal area without edges is much more complex. It is important for illumination and makes the figure better.

Keep on making what you want to make!

The muscular armors represent bodies of gods. They are frequent in antiquity and the Renaissance. I don't understand why every time the female body is equated to the male body it creates a problem for some of some of you. https://www.patrimonionacional.es/colecciones-reales/real-armeria/armadura-la-romana-de-guiobaldo-della-rovere-duque-de-urbino But I don't need to go to a transposition. Armors in the style were used in reality. This one belongs to a Mughal warriors and Queen of Jhansi. It was used in battle between 1855-1860. Don't tell me you can't be more open-minded than the Indians were almost 200 years ago. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c063u72wwc0wvdf/60172506_1_x%20%281%29.jpg?dl=0 Stars and trees are present in many of our elves. But they only matter when they decorate a female chest... Frankly, this is boring me a lot. If you don't like antiquity you won't like the transposition we will make to fantasy. But in that respect it's not going to change. If someone does not like it I am sorry, and I am sorry that you are not able to see it with another perspective. But as we always do, it's thought out, it's documented, it represents exactly what we want to represent. And most importantly, it tells the story we want to tell...

Last Sword Miniatures

Star nipples and boob plate feel a bit much haha. A more solid chest piece and a central sunburst on the breastbone maybe?

Philip Rimmer

I like the design :)

Heppla

I'll skip this one, the esthetic doesn't work for me at all. It also doesn't seem to fit in with the realistic tone for the rest of the range. Boob plate with a star nipple for extra emphasis? To each his own, I guess...

Ivo van der Werff

You guys usually do great work but you really need a woman on staff…

Jared Danker

Fearsome 👍

I love this... do they leave the mask on when they father a child from the male they chose ? So the male can't ever find his offspring ?

Christian Natello

They are wearing a mask.

Christian Natello

Please figure out a more modest sculpt or at least a version without star nipples

Jared Danker

With faces like that they will stay maidens, yeesh!
