As I stated on Facebook I really like the idea, but for me the pose feels truly unnatural. Maybe it's the angle of the legs, or the way the rider is holding the reins and the banner pole. I know there are compromises to be made in order to make the miniature stand, but it seems that the horse would break both his legs if it would land that way. And that above all is the reason why I don't particulary like jumping poses, they tend to feel unnatural for the sake of structure and stability of the model, whereas a galloping stance would always have at least two hooves on the gound, and so the compromise between technical issues and pose would be more subtle. Anyway, the armor and the barding look great. I know this would be one of your masterpieces and can't wait to see the whole unit.
