Added 2021-01-09 19:44:07 +0000 UTCHappy New Year to all. With a little delay because of the Christmas holidays I bring you this month's files.
We hope that this year will be the year of the take-off of this Patreon, and we already have several months prepared to be able to work with certain tranquility and to approach new projects.
The Wolf Band will soon receive reinforcements in the form of units, and Prince Lion will gather his armies in a themed army, with his own infantry and chariots. Our dear lizards will continue to receive units little by little.
So it's time for you to tell us what course you would like us to follow. What new factions you would like us to incorporate. More human factions or Elvish kingdoms, or on the contrary, completely new things?
It will be the work of many months so we would like to hear your opinion.
On the other hand the numbers of the patreon are not good and we need to improve them. Even so our bet is solid.
When you share our work you help us much more than you think, because for a small company visibility is very important.
Some people share their files in exchange groups. This is very harmful for a company like ours.
Right now this patreon needs three people with a dedication of 5-6 hours a day and the occasional support of two others. As you can see the numbers are very insufficient. With less than 300-400 patrons it is very probable that we cannot sustain it indefinitely. We don't believe that anyone will do it with ill will, but you have to be aware of what it involves and the damage it does. this is not movie businnes in which billions move. Piracy can take many companies like ours out of this market.
More patrons will mean our peace of mind, but it is also good for you. They will allow us to approach the pre-supported files, to raise sometimes the number of miniatures, and to take more care of the posing in the units.
In any case our bet is the same. Carefully detailed, tested and painted miniatures. Because we love minis and we do not want to sell files just to be stored on hard drives
Thank you very much to all of you for your support.

2021-02-16 11:27:47 +0000 UTCYou guys are doing a great job, I really love the armies concept you already have. I found your patreon by chance on Instagram, because your painter was sharing his work. I think sharing his and others works a lot. I hope you'll meet the success you deserve ! (go go Empire !)

2021-02-04 19:07:14 +0000 UTCIf I may give my opinion on this subject, I was one of your patreon at the very beginning and dropped it for other ones. I love your designs, you are doing a great job and your designs are for sure unique.I read your reply on the comment above on the fact that other patreons offer only copies of the same base and it's true of course but if you look at the number of people supporting Artisan Guild for example, you can see that is not a problem. People don't car about such things if that give them the possibility to build their own minis. I'm using the minis for DnD sessions not tabletop games so for me it is really important to have the possibility to find minis for my players and for encounters. In this matter, modular minis are so much more practical because sometimes the mini just isn't exactly what you need. If you can change the weapon, the shield, give it a hand with a magical spell, you have a lot more possibilities. That's the first thing. Then I think having always the same armies can be a problem for you as well. If you look at the most supported patreons like Artisan Guild and Titan Forge for example, they are changing the theme every month and if sometimes it doesn't fit to my needs, it often do or give me ideas for news scenarios with very different creatures. But every time, I tell myself "Damn this look awesome, can I use it in my sessions?" Sometimes I do, sometimes i don't. But every time I'm interested by the new kind of miniatures. In your case, even if I like the design of the minis, I often tell myself "Well, another elf, another lizard, another human troup. I might consider it but we shall see the other patreons" and often I just go for the other because I'm so hyped by what they do (The only exception for me was the giant you did. Even if I didn't supported back then because they were really good minis that month on the other patreons, I really hesitated). Diversity is good because you can satisfy a lot more people. Most of the time, you only touch people liking elves, lizards and human troups. Even if I like those species as much as anybody, I'm not as much hyped as I was when I first saw your patreon. So I always look to see if there is something out of the box but usually it isn't. I understand that you want to satisfy your customer base who like elves, lizards and men but maybe that's part of the problem. I hope this comment will help you and that you will find a way to get more patreon. Your skills are not the problem, that's for sure.

2021-02-03 19:03:35 +0000 UTCSo, speaking as someone who just joined your patreon, the reason I joined was because of the crossbowman unit. I love WFB and Mordheim and I seek to support those who are keeping the tradition alive. What will keep me coming back is something like what we see this month, a unit of models and 1-2 hero characters. I don't see any old Empire style models, and as others have mentioned your High elves are excellent. Maybe alternate between the two month to month? You could also do warbands for Mordheim or similar over 2 months, since they're a little smaller and easier to complete.

2021-02-03 14:31:36 +0000 UTCStick to Elves and dogs of war! So many companies are doing lizardmen, knights and evil dwarfs. After Dark Elves maybe Dwarfs?
2021-02-01 03:00:12 +0000 UTCI like the elves, but I also like the strange things like golems and birdmen. Scenery, ruins, I will always use for basing and terrain also.

2021-01-28 04:44:34 +0000 UTCHi. Great job. For my part elves and elves. Elven scenery, in short, everything related to the high elves. A greeting.
2021-01-22 23:05:04 +0000 UTCThank you for your work !!! I really love your elves, they are beautiful. You deserve the Patreon to grow, I think an army like dwarves, chaos, skeletons or orks could earn you other clients. I hope 2021 will be profitable for you.

2021-01-15 02:11:05 +0000 UTCI agree with the 2 comment above. your models is awesome and you are really good at designing but I struggle to see away to use a lot of them. I also looking for a line that there can be used for army's. you are really good at designing elf and humans, and there are not that many there are good at that. specially the fantastic elves. start by making a unit, 3-4 poses of your flame keepers and you will see the 400+ patrons really fast :-)

2021-01-14 21:52:34 +0000 UTCI would love for you (or any Creator for that matter) to fully explore lines in a rather timely fashion. Like focus on Humans and Elves and give them a release every second month. If you did expand on elves as an alternate to GWs Lumineth Line I would be very happy to further support you.
2021-01-12 18:50:30 +0000 UTCLook I won’t lie, I got into 3D printing with the idea of printing whole armies as I play a lot and want all the armies (big games too) so a consolidated line would be awesome!

2021-01-12 13:51:23 +0000 UTCThank you very much. We are very happy to hear that. The big doubt is that, if you go jumping to more innovative projects, for example as this month or last, which do not have many clear references. Or on the contrary to focus on the elaboration of armies in a much more intensive way. I believe that one of the great problems is that we have made a little of everything until the moment, and we must consolidate one of the lines.

2021-01-12 13:46:26 +0000 UTCWe are studying it. But on the one hand it is an expensive platform, and on the other hand these things require an investment of time, and it is not the resource that we have most of right now.

2021-01-12 13:40:27 +0000 UTCYour designs are amazing! High elves are great as no other company that I know of do high elves. There are a few doing lizardmen but IMO yours are the best ones. I think the key to keeping people interested in subscribing is fleshing out units for an army they want that way they keep coming back. I love your human sculpts they are fantastic, if you are looking for cool ideas that will keep you guys individual from the other companies that all seem to do the same thing (lizards, chaos dwarves and bretonia). The market has a lot of space for chaos (especially demons) and alternative humans such as kislev and dogs of war. To use titan forge as an example, they are amazing at doing new themes like Araby or Norse, however each month is a splash release and you know they won’t add anything to them again so it is easy to “skip” a month. I think adding cool new things is great and your designs are the most unique I’ve seen!

2021-01-11 05:29:55 +0000 UTCHave you considered joining some of the larger STL storefronts like myminifactory.com? Having presence there might help with exposure.
2021-01-10 22:16:38 +0000 UTCI would like more human features , halfings, and more villagers with professions and farm animals

2021-01-10 11:42:15 +0000 UTCIn principle the intention was to orient it to the game of skirmishes type frostgrave or mordheim. The following launches of the wolf band are planned to serve in skirmishes and regiments. Let's see how they turn out.
Last Sword Miniatures
2021-01-10 11:41:30 +0000 UTCThank you very much for your opinion. You are a real super patreon from what I see. If you allow me to give you an example I will use Artisan Guild, as I see it on your profile. January 2020 Deepwood alfar set: All male and female bodies are the same. They repeat up to a few faces, without changing any features. 6 modular miniatures, but the 6 with the same pieces, only change the fabric. The deer is exactly the same frame as the individual 4 characters, in which many components are also repeated. In short, they have made a set of 12 miniatures, with 4 anatomical bases and a set of accessories. If we go to more modern sets, the strategy is the same. A set of elements and apply it to many miniatures with the same bases. For example, this month's orcs have made the accessory set a little more complex, and then they simplify it by eliminating ornaments to apply to the troop. But it is still a single set, and 2 anatomies for most miniatures. In our case, I take this month as an example. It may seem at first glance that it has fewer miniatures. But if we analyze, we see that each golem although they share the anatomy, has a helmet, ornaments and custom weaponry. Custom made for them. The poses are original and we try to minimize the use of mirrors, very common in other brands. There are none this month. The magician is a 100% original sculpture with its own anatomical base. The Apprentice is exactly the same. The lord of knowledge does not share a single element with the rest of the set, and practically none with the elf range. Again a 100% new miniature. And of course the sphinx, we hadn't done anything remotely similar. If you count the scenery, we have made 8 figures, 5 of them large, which implies much more attention to detail. But those 8 miniatures have meant 5 anatomical bases and another 5 sets of elements. If you start looking at things like that you will see how the differences are blurred. Now so many miniatures are sculpted that it is impossible to print them all. I want that when you choose to print you have unique minis to choose from and not just legions of clones. But maybe we are wrong. That is why we are so interested in your opinion.

2021-01-10 11:36:39 +0000 UTCA halfling/gnome army could be cool and draw in people as they tend to be a desired yet underrepresented amongst the 3d printing world at the moment. Animal races also tend to be in demand, though I would probably go with a general beastman army, rather than picking a single animal and trying to make an army out of it.

2021-01-10 09:16:45 +0000 UTCConcentrate on finishing what you started. So eleven lords, lizardman and the wolf band. Take a game(aos, KoW,9th age) and compare what units you lack to fill the army. Don't need to have all the units but at least half would be great. And than if you lack the idea for more (elves etc) jump to next race. It's the best approach in my opinion as most people would like to have an army of the same style figures :) Hope this year will be better for you.

2021-01-10 01:37:20 +0000 UTCI really love your work, though I have to admit its the patreon I often consider dropping first each month when I'm budgeting. There are fewer models on average than most of the competitors at your level and the themes seem to be all over the place. What you do make is amazing, but hope that feedback helps. I would never think to share the files though, that's terrible.
