Big thank you for your support our first month back! We're delighted to have such a great community around us :)

We've received a question via messages about FLSM: Glimmer Deck development and wanted to answer it for everyone. FLSM is our baby and we love it dearly. That being said it is also seven years old now. Game development tech changes significantly every year and, for many years, we were able to keep it updated. However it is at a place now that isn't continuable in its current Unity engine version and to upgrade it is a monster project- we know this because we've attempted it multiple times but it's at the point where it will have to be almost totally remade to be updated. Like from the ground up- only to get it to where it is currently (just with a newer code base).

But not right now.

Right now we are deeply involved in Cake Mix and that is what we will be working on for the foreseeable future. We are very excited to be creating a new game and we think you'll really like it but we do understand if you're longing for more FLSM: Glimmer Deck. We get it. We really do. And we don't want to break your heart like this. Breaking up is hard... but the chance for a new love is great. So great in fact that when you start noticing those butterflies in your stomach for the *new* game and you only have eyes for those *new* pixels, you'll wonder why you ever resisted the change in the first place <3

Hi clauskj3r! Thanks for the suggestion. We've experimented with using the Unreal Engine but find that, currently, Unity works better for the games we want to make :)
