Next Week: something different
Added 2020-08-30 16:31:19 +0000 UTCTo celebrate not only my three years of writing monsters, but two years here on Patreon, I wanted to share with you all something personal and a little embarrassing. I recently found some files with old works In them. Going over all the old works and projects, I was amazed by the leaps and bounds I have made in writing. These are things I did not realize I had grown out of or improved upon. Even in the three years since I started writing these monster stories, I can see a steady change in how I write.
I wanted to share with all of you these old works, so you too can see the stages I have gone through in my writing, and that you too can grow with practice and time. I didn’t start anywhere near where I am today. I made cringy cliches and annoying foibles all the time. I used to heavily rely on what anime I was watching for plot and characters.
There will be old stories in a wide array of genres. (Including a bit of fan fiction cyoa I’ve never posted anywhere for the public.) I’ve queued so everyday there is a little extra to make up until the regularly scheduled stories return the following week. There’s even one story I didn’t get to post every bit of, so if you like it, I’ll continue posting it on the weekends for you to enjoy because the story is technically complete.
I hope you enjoy what I’m sharing with you, as it took me a long time to build up the nerve to even consider sharing it. Feel free to poke fun and laugh, because I’m very in on the joke.
I also wish you an amazing week as we start off into September. Hopefully things will get kinder and gentler on us this month. I hope you’re all safe and doing well, and I look forward to sending out the Hearthway Hollow themed mailouts!
In October I will be doing trick or treat goody bags filled with tons of past rewards and maybe even a few new ones. Maybe some glitter too.
