For "Nina's Leap," I've decided to go entirely traditional with no AI involvement for Nina herself. I want to fully capture her personality, and frankly, AI just doesn't bring the genuine expressions needed to make her come alive. Some background characters might still use AI, but Nina will be all hand-drawn, avoiding that unsettling, dead-eyed look.
Something funny struck me recently—it actually takes longer to get AI to produce something specific than it does for me to just draw it myself. And guess what? I can draw! So, why wasn't I just doing that from the start? It seems so obvious now. By drawing the characters myself, especially their facial expressions, the game becomes not only funnier but also more enjoyable to develop.

Remember when we settled on style C? Well, I've been practicing, and now I'm using it as my reference point. I always had it in the back of my mind that I might redraw some elements later to enhance them, and it turns out that starting traditional is just better for everyone.
In related news, just like with our stories—where we eventually found it faster to write them ourselves rather than rely on AI—I'm phasing out AI art. It turns out all that hype just didn't speed things up as expected.
Thank you all for sticking with this journey, and for those of you who share in the laughter and the challenges, it really does mean the world to me.
