[Commission] First Indians On The Moon

Aloo123's Nav and Jas are out of their lander clad in their A7L ready for the mission after leaving their mark!

Okay another day with an upload in a row, let's go!

Today we have another commission for Aloo123 on DeviantArt and this is the continuation to the previous pic I did that you can check right here. That's why here we have his OCs, Indian astronauts Commander Jas Gill and her significant other, Nav Gill, clad in the A7L spacesuit, the EVA setup of it this time, finally got out of the hatch of their lander, stamped the footprints of their lunar boots into the lunar ground, planted the flag of India and saluting to it, and reported back to the ground ready for a work day above the fine yet hazardous lunar soil :D

I don't have the WIP post for this pic, sorry for you guys eligible for it ^^;. But you know the deal with the poses, they are taken from the previous drawings with the EVA setup A7L, although of course there are some adaptations and fresh jobs done. First, for Nav's suit I had to relocate the hoses and inlets as this is my first drawing with a 3/4 view of the male version of the suit. And then of course. The lander in the background. As with any drawings of vehicles and complex objects, the Apollo LM here is traced, but I didn't just take any JPEGs of it and trace it, instead there is still some originality from the angle it viewed from. I looked for a 3D model, found one on SketchUp website, then I adjusted the camera of the online previewer to my desired position hopefully fitting for the pic, and then took a screenshot of the webpage, and used that as my trace base. From there, the Symmetry Mode of CorelDRAW 2019 helps me once again, at least for the bottom part, you know, the part that's left on the moon when the astronaut depart from the moon, but tracing the main module on the top wasn't really complicated either. I kind of wished I could apply the wrinkled foil effect on this bottom section to emulated the golden foil wrapping it, but couldn't find any efficient way to do so in CorelDRAW so I just left it flat instead, with shading of course. I found many drawn references of the lander don't have any resemblance to a wrinkled coil effect applied to their take of the lander anyway. Finally, the positioning and objects scaling. The lander doesn't look like it's pretty far away from the two astronauts, does it? I tried my best ^^; I did alleviate it by giving a different shading to the ground, put fewer gravels than I did on previous drawings taking place on the moon, and shrunk the poses and the lander a little bit, but well, I hope you got the picture ^^;

The pic came out really good personally still! Now the two astronauts in love are ready for adventures and walkarounds on the barren grey! :D

That's pretty much it, I hope Aloo123 and as well as you guys, liked it :D
