[Commission] A Couple's Smooth Landing

Jas and Nav Gill are having a wholesome moment of glory as they finally landed on the moon!

Well, crap, I took too long of a break of doing commission works, but there's a reason to that, including specifically related to this pic, but yeah, managed to somewhat put myself together and complete this pic!

Yup, another commission for Aloo123 on DA this time and it's his Astronaut OC from India, Commander Jas Gill from the previous series of her encounter with Ursa from Superman II! Yes, she came back after what happened to her in the last pic (you can imagine), but this is not part of it. As far as I concerned, that series is pretty much concluded. This is a new, much more positive scene we have her in, and also featured here, for the first time, is her significant other, Nav Gill, piloting the lander to it's safe descent to the barren grey! That's right, as we can see here, the two, clad in the A7L (as usual per Aloo's taste), as successfully landed their Apollo-style Lunar Module on the moon, and having a good time celebrating it and complimenting each other for it! And there will be a continuation to this pic, so stay tuned :D

Now let's get to what made this took rather long to finish. This pic actually has been on the works since like the beginning of the year this was posted, but, well, putting aside an argument I had with a fellow artist and past commissioner in between that put me on an art block, the background was done first and as you can see (or not see as some of them got hidden or cropped out of frame) it has a lot of details that I couldn't really miss, you know, the buttons, the perspective of each panels, and so on. ^^; But basically it's an expanded version the background on one of the panels from my earlier sheet commission, which will be up later (honestly I just of posting on Patreon legacy pics that got mentioned on new posts, posting them the same day as the said new post, I'll figure it out) but yeah, the big chunk of time taken to complete this pic in a piecemeal was on the background.

As for the suits though, it's just based on my earlier pics with the A7L, but this time I got to modify it into the IVA (Intravehicular Activity) setup of it, one that you can see the Apollo astronauts are wearing as they walked into the launching site and while inside the ship. It went well, especially since that one was done pretty much after I got my drawing groove going again, and I can say they looks pretty good in it! also a first time dong someone with a thick beard, putting the beard in a proper position among the object group of Nav's pose was tricky but I managed it ^^;

Overall, the pic came out really well, love to see Jas and Nav having a cute moment celebrating their successful landing! :D
