[Art Gift] Chat Before Plunge

Welp, still not one of the commissions queue but trust me I'm getting back to it, just feel like doing some scuba pic over space pics for once (this has actually happened, I got too used to submitting to the spacesuit groups I'm member of, the scuba ones now actually on the bottom on the recent group list! ><), It's been a while, and perhaps this time, my first take on a diving preparation pic! Yup, when it comes to scuba pics I've been doing the characters all already submerged with their masks and regs already on all this time, so the ones where they haven't put them on yet is quite a refresher, and as you can see, chatting as they gear up for the dive are mrgerudoman's OCs, from left to right being Hyde Stewart, Hal Woodward, and Carter Lyon! He had actually came to me considering to commission this, coming up with a basic concept for the poses and the background, and then I noticed his birthday coming up so I figured out to make it a gift instead. :D
About the process. Yeah being the gift and that the recipient is one of my Parfait patrons, no WIPs are posted to avoid spoiling it (sorry guys ^^;) but it went as usual, with the poses taken from past drawings except this times some changes were made to the base body, with the idea being "well they're gonna be wearing their wetsuits mainly on this pic, are they? They can't look like this" after I looked back to their rather taller torso and skinny legs from the unmodified base pose, so that the fix that I made to it. Not to mention Hal's pose where he's the only one sitting on the bench here so the rework on the leg was definitely mandatory. Could be better, but this much is enough. Then again, as it is evident here, improvement spots can always be found in the future.
It is though, as always, the background that is more involved. Had to figure out the right perspective to pull the lines for the picnic bench, and this is yet another one that could be better especially on the legs where It doesn't really follow the perspective line I used as a guide, because when I do it felt odd, but perhaps that's for the best. Besides, it's negligible anyway. Thought of putting some more objects on the table after Hal and Carter's flippers on the floor, but decided to let you assume that some of it are still inside the duffle bag on the table.
Overall, liked how the pic came out, especially Carter's pose in the wetsuit with the new body proportion.
I already showed this to MrGerudoMan ahead of posting and he liked it, hope you guys do as well :D
