[Art Gift] Another Mission Accomplished
Added 2023-11-18 15:51:53 +0000 UTCOkay first full-fledged drawing that is made available for everyone to view, but don't get me wrong, the image used above is the reduced resolution version I normally used only on Twitter/X, and I'm doing this as I'm testing Patreon's Shop feature, where you can download the full resolution version of this and upcoming drawings at a price, unless you pledged to any paid tiers so you can download them for free! (depending on which tier you're pledging to, of course). Let's see how it goes :D
But, man, I keep giving those on birthdays free EMU pics, am I? Can't blame it as this is the kind of pic I can do quickly given there's a template for it ^^;
Regardless, yeah we have another EMU pic as an art gift for not one, but two friends who share a birthday, which are Spottedoopla out of Twitter on DA and one of the Parfait Patrons SonicHacki, and given the former's schtick is astronauts in EMU, just like my previous two pic I did for him (which is this one and this one, make sure you pledged though), we have Maxine back in scene again, joined by Hacki's Concorde, posing after some successful maintenance on one of the solar panels of the International Space Station! Yup, I decided to put Concorde in one pic with same setting here, partly as he had once appeared on one of the YCH commissions Hacki actually commission, A pic of which is on my DA but will be up here along with other YCH commission pics collectively as a Shop item or a dedicated post, we'll see which one works best.
As for the process, well, there isn't much to talk about because not just the poses, but even the backgrounds are taken from one of the older pics, but that one had it's shading redone. As for the poses, as usual some modification are new elements are made, like an open wrist cuff checklist on Maxine's arm and a custom logo on Concorde's DCM, the latter of which I kind of debating on what to put, initially thought of a half face mask to compensate Hacki's interest on one, but I just went on with a modified Apple logo to kind of reflect Hacki's former interest on Hackintoshes, which are a non-Apple x86 PCs that got worked around unofficially to have macOS installed instead of Windows or any other x86 based OSes.
But yeah, another EMU pic done with a quite satisfying result and I hope Spot and Hacki liked it as well :D
