[Art Gift] Dreams Come True, Twice
Added 2023-10-03 10:48:58 +0000 UTCThis is one of the pics that had stuck in my mind for a while now, so I did it right away, also as a bit of a jumpstart to get back to batch stuff, and saved it for this specific date XD
Yup, we have another Shuttle/ISS EMU pic that is also an Apollo A7L Suit pic this time, making it the first one to feature both at the same time. Both suits are clad Mia Carmichael an OC by Daxter a.k.a RubyDerilious007 and pyrephasewolf on DA and Twitter/X respectively, And shown here is her EVAs in two different missions, Earth orbit and Moon specifically, enjoyed her moment immersing herself in the vacuum as she accomplish her mission! The Idea came simply because at one time Dax wished to see this OC of his, head to toe, in various real-life spacesuits, EMU and A7L being one of them. So yeah as the title implies, Two of his wishes came true :D
A bit on the process of this, well, I did do Mia at first in my own original spacesuit p-EMU, which is so far has only been up on Twitter (or X if you prefer), and have no plans to make it public on the other site, most likely won't as the design of that one is rather outdated anyway. Her color palette though is based on the YCH pic of her I did earlier, which, along with the other EMU YCH pics I haven't put on Patreon yet, so stay tuned :) But yeah, the design from that YCH pic is I went with and due to that her hair had to be done from scratch for both panels. This is where I as well challenge myself of adding more detailed parts to the pose in addition to the existing one such as a crew lock bag of the ISS and it's contents, and, the infamous chest-mounted Hasselblad camera for the A7L pose. and there you have it :D

It was a blast to draw, the results were pleasing and I hope Daxter and as always you guys, liked it :D
