[Commission] Luke's Deep Swim

Okay, got a pretty quick from-scratcher thing right here, sort of, the work on this actually started like last week but felt like working on the coloring I did before this (which you can check right here), and only got to work on this further from its base body just yesterday ^^;

Anyways, back to the full drawing this time, and this is yet another one commissioned by Sapphire1X7 involving an Australian-Canadian animated TV series The Deep, that tells a story about an underwater-faring Nekton family in search of secrets under the deep blue one by one! Featured here though is Sapph's OC based on the series, Luke Moray, having some scuba-dive wearing the Nekton family-issued wetsuit and full-face mask, which appears to be more for a free dive usage but I guess we can assume that the FFM is advanced enough for a deep-dive use? I don't know, I'm not acquainted enough with the series to make enough details but yeah, as we can see here Luke's having a relaxing dive :D

As alluded to before, the process despite being held back by a couple of days for a coloring commission is pretty much a quick one for being mostly made from scratch, So much so that I didn't have the WIP post for this pic ^^;. Yup, the wetsuit and mask design as well as his hair are made from scratch, and given that nothing much goes with the pose, not even that of the canon characters, that's pretty much it. I was kind of expecting the series to feature a full-fledged scuba gear as well, like you know, with tanks and such, only to find out not much at least for the Nektons, so FFM-only it is. Not quite my cup of tea but hey, at least the color scheme for the outfit is enough to make it up and I liked it :D

Speaking of colors though, well, like I said I'm not acquainted enough with the series (would like to watch at least some of them though) So I ended up picking anything from the reference Sapph gave me, which turned out to be inaccurate, and from there, he gave me another one that has a proper color as seen in the series, as you can see above. The version with the color I picked first is still available though, as an alternative version which you can check right here, make sure you are a Parfait-tier patron though :D

Overall, I’m satisfied with how striking the result is, But I do look forward to draw the official characters someday :D
