Context: Solo development focus is on stabilizing the project post-layoffs and laying down the groundwork for core game mechanics.
Weeks 1-4 (January):
- Recovering and recalibrating post-layoffs, reassessing the project timeline based on current bandwidth.
- Continuing research and development on core systems and architecture, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Finalizing the design document, focusing on key features that are feasible for solo development.
Weeks 5-8 (February):
- Developing the base UI, ensuring it's responsive and aligns with the game's design requirements.
- Initiating core game mechanics development: kitchen system, growth algorithms, and initial character interactions.
- Setting up a basic version control system to manage code effectively and planning for Trello integration.
Weeks 9-12 (March):
- Finalizing the setup of Trello for project management, outlining tasks, milestones, and priorities.
- Continuing development on core gameplay elements, focusing on establishing a playable loop.
- Starting to integrate basic sound elements and fleshing out the visual novel aspects with placeholder assets.
Quarter 2: Core Gameplay and Visual Content Development (Weeks 13 to 24)

- Bar Work System & Bar CGs: Develop the system along with creating 2 CGs for bar scenarios.
- Nina's Sprites Development (Part 1): Begin creating the 31 different sprites for Nina, focusing on her basic expressions and states.
- "Fuck Around" System: Start developing the system to allow players to explore and discover new spots.
Weeks 17-20:
- Eating Mechanic System & Supermarket System: Integrate food choices affecting growth, with supermarket interactions for procurement.

- Milestone CGs Development (Part 1): Start creating CGs for growth milestones, focusing first on breast and butt expansion.
