Hey folks! I just wanted to drop a quick update on our game project—kind of like peeking into a simmering pot to see how the stew is coming along.
Okay, picture this: we start with our doodles, sort of like stick figure sketches. They’re rough and a bit scribbly, but they get the job done. These sketches are like our first draft—our blueprint. Then we bring in this nifty thing called control net—think of it as a digital puppeteer. It takes our final, fancy AI art and lets us move it around and pose it, just like those posable art dolls. We're matching it up with our initial sketches to get everything looking spot-on.

Now, a quick word on our Patreon. Our main gig isn’t churning out art pieces left and right. It’s more like, “Hey, let’s build this awesome game.” I know, I know, it’s been like 11 days since we last showed you anything. But trust me, we haven’t been slacking off. It’s been full-throttle, especially over the weekends.
The big beast we're wrestling with right now is the transpiler. Sounds fancy, right? It’s this tool that transforms all our written game stuff (done in Twine, super simple and cool) into something our game engine, Unity, can play with. It's kind of like translating a recipe from French to English so everyone can cook it. It's a bit of a head-scratcher, but we’re getting there.
The script runner! When we write the game's story and dialogue, the script runner takes all those words and cues, and then it tells the game what to show and when. Whether it’s a character laughing, a door slamming, or just a simple conversation, the script runner is there, making sure each scene flows into the next seamlessly.
The cool part? It lets us create complex interactions and storylines without getting tangled up. It's like having a super-efficient assistant who knows exactly when to bring each character onto the stage.
And hey, don’t worry, we’re gearing up to show you some neat visuals soon. We're cooking something that’ll hopefully make your eyes pop!
In a nutshell, we're throwing together our initial ideas (the sketches) with some high-tech wizardry to cook up our game. Your patience and support mean a ton. I can’t wait to pull back the curtain a bit more and show you what’s brewing. Hang tight for more updates from our little pixel kitchen
Oh yeah, we will draw every image and use AI to position it. After 10000 or so tests, we gave up on expecting AI to pose anything remotely at the correct angles. This is to easily replace with CORRECT ART.
