Half-Orc Boyfriend: Severin (complete)

It’s been a long time since you came home. For a long while now you were helping take care of your ailing grandmother. Now that she’s doing better, your parents have called you back home in time for a ball. It’s not exactly what you’d want to be doing - you much prefer living out in the country on your grandmother’s estate. You have more freedom there, more time to be yourself.
You’re happy to see your parents, even if you know you’ll soon be seeing the dressmaker for a fitting. Once you’re in your room, you sigh and look over the luggage you’ll unpack eventually. Glancing out the window, you remember the view from your grandmother’s place. Her neighbor’s home is nearby, and you could sometimes see the children of the estate outside on the lawn. You’re going to miss them. It was nice having them nearby.
The master of the place is an Orc who made his fortune with cattle, and his wife is a pretty little heiress. The two eloped when she became pregnant with their son, and you became close with him while visiting your grandmother. Severin had been apprehensive at first. He had been serious about his studies, while you enjoyed spending your time reading ‘fanciful novels’. Eventually, though, you wore him down. He had a competitive streak that you chiseled at until he couldn’t take it. You raced each other, on horseback and on foot, sometimes even in the lake.
While Severin was a very studious and intelligent young man, he was also shy and reclusive. Being half-orc and born premature, and having a petite mother, Severin’s growth was stunted. You had always been tall, even as a child, and you suspect that played a part in Severin’s hesitance at befriending you early in your stay. But you fancied Severin from the start. Something about his bookish, rigid personality made you want to break him free.
Now, you are home, and you can only see your family’s estate rolling over the hillside rather than the lovely home of your friend. You let your shoulders sag and your mind drift as you daydream about what Severin and his family are up to. You miss your grandmother as well, and hope she isn’t too lonesome these days. Hopefully Severin will pay her visits now.
Over the next few days you assist your mother in preparing for the ball. You pick out decorations and color schemes with her, although you drift into thought constantly. You think about how, at this moment, you could be riding horses or having sweets with your grandmother, rather than picking out napkins.
“Are you listening?” your mother asks gently.
“I am.” You look away from the window. “We should go with the sea-breeze napkins. The white will seem stark compared to the rest of the table.”
“Good eye, darling.” Your mother is pleased, at least. “It’s so nice having you home! I can’t get your father to help me at all with these sorts of things.”
“You know Dad. He prefers to plan the layout.” You yawn.
Your mother perks up. “Are you tired, darling?”
“Sorry, just a little bored.” You shrug at her. “I’m fine though. Keep going.”
Your mother tuts and shakes her head. “You were spoiled by your grandmother, I know it. What would you be doing now if you weren’t with me?” she chuckles.
You tilt your head to the side. “Probably horseback riding with grandmother’s neighbors.”
Your mother scrunches up her nose. “That Orc family?”
“Don’t say it like that. They’re good people.” You glance back out the window to see only a darkening horizon.
“Well, after this ball I think you’re ready to start taking suitors again.”
You look crossly down at your mother. “I’ve only just got back.”
“You’ve been gone for months! Most of your friends have gotten engaged or married in that time.” You mother gives you that look, akin to a kicked puppy. “I know this isn’t the most pleasant of experiences, but it is something we all must go through.”
You wrinkle your nose at this. “Can’t I just be like Aunt Martha and live alone somewhere with my ‘lady friend’?”
Your mother shoots a harsh look at you. “Your Aunt Martha is sensitive.”
“I thought she was looney?”
“Both!” Your mother shakes her head again. “Your father and I are worried about you, darling. You’ve always been a late bloomer, save for your height. You’ve always been more of a wild child.”
“Exactly. No one wants any of that. So to be safe, maybe we should hold off on suitors for a few… dozen years.” You smile awkwardly as your mother gives you a stern look.
“I will try to keep the number of suitors low, but you still need to make an attempt.” She pats your cheek. “For the good of this family. Your father and I won’t always be around, and you need to start realizing that, as our only child, you have a responsibility here.”
“I know,” you grumble.
You remember having a discussion with Severin about the future - how you were expected to marry, and what your family expected of you. Severin had been disheartened, knowing that his stature wasn’t smiled upon. He felt neither Orc nor human because of it.
“You look like an Orc,” you told him.
“I look like a goblin,” he huffed. “No one will want me.”
“Don’t say that.” You watched him as he sat brooding, then looked down at your hands, wondering what exactly you could say to cheer him up. That you liked him? No, he wouldn’t believe you. There was someone out there he could bring a smile to? No, that sounded corny.
“I’ll marry someone, I’m sure, but neither of us will be pleased about it.” Severin stood from his chair to move closer to the fireplace. “But part of me still wants even a sliver of what my parents have.”
You're not sure why you never spoke up. Perhaps it was because you weren’t sure of Severin’s feelings for you, or maybe you didn’t want him to think you were teasing. In any case, it’s too late now. You should have told Severin about your feelings when you had the chance.
The day of the ball arrives, and for the first part of the day you and your mother go through the usual ablutions. You have a hearty breakfast because you won’t be having lunch - you have to squeeze into those dresses, after all - and then you are primped from head to toe. You soak in a milk bath with rose petals, slather on beauty cream, and have your hair pulled tight into curlers and clips.
When you squeeze into your dress, you feel like a stuffed sausage, but at least you can finally eat when you and your family make your grand entrance. Once that’s done, all you need to do is dance attendance on some people, and then you can hide in whatever room you want. As long as someone tells your mother you look ravishing, that’s enough for her.
You try to grab a glass of champagne, one of the pink ones with massive strawberries at the bottom. Chasing around a waiter, you hear a commotion coming from down the hall. It sounds like a scuffle, but then the doors open and a familiar figure stands there. He’s slightly disheveled and breathless, but he quickly adjusts himself and smooths back his hair as he nervously looks around the room. When he notices eyes watching him curiously, he skulks to the side, turns his back to the room and faces the table of food.
“Who on earth is that?” someone near you whispers.
“Looks like an Orc.”
“But he’s so… small.”
You push through the crowd, racing towards the table. Even from behind, you recognize Severin, grumbling over a platter of cheeses. You can’t believe it’s really him! What one earth is he doing here?
You tap his shoulder, and he spins around with a glare that quickly melts into wide-eyed shock. He clears his throat and stands up stiffly before he bows. “Your home is lovely.”
“Severin,” you gawk, “what are you doing here?”
He stands erect again, and his soft blue eyes move rapidly over your face. “Your grandmother said...” He stops to clear his throat. “Your grandmother suggested that, maybe, I should make an appearance here.”
You smile, relieved to have him here. Seeing him come through that door was just the thing you needed. “Don’t get me wrong, I am so happy to see you. It’s just such a shock.”
“I know, and I am sorry if I am intruding, but...” He stops completely, frozen in place like a cornered animal.
“But?” you ask softly.
“Your home really is lovely,” he says weakly.
You arch a brow and try to suppress a smile. “Yes, you said that.”
“I mean your dress!” Severin blurts. He swallows and nods his head. “I mean, your dress is really lovely.”
You start to smile. “Thank you.” You smooth your hand down the front. “I’m not too fond of wearing it, but if you like it, that makes this all worth it.”
A smile appears on Severin’s face. His soft, black hair begins to fall into his eyes, so you reach out and brush it away from his face.
“It’s OK.” He pulls back a bit, cupping his hand over the top of his head, then chuckles nervously and turns back to the table. “Nice spread you got here.”
You stand beside him and pluck up one of the tiny hors d'oeuvres. “We go all out for our food. That’s what my dad insists upon. Well, that and the alcohol.”
Severin presses his lips into a tight line and taps one of his tusks. “You must be happy to be home with them again.”
“Of course, but I’ve been more homesick for grandmother and her home than anything.” You glance down at Severin, noticing his posture is more rigid than before. You know he’s not used to large parties, but this is one he wasn’t even formally invited to. You inch closer to his side. “I miss you and your siblings. I miss Thunderstruck.”
“She misses you,” he murmurs. “She gets antsy when we don’t ride her right. You really made an impression on that horse,” he chuckles. He looks up at you with those beautiful blue eyes. “My family misses you too.”
You smile at him. “Do you miss me?”
His cheeks darken and he turns his head away. “Your home really is lovely.”
You huff and roll your eyes. “Severin, would you like to go somewhere private?”
“Please, and thank you.”
You lead him away to the study, which has a secret entrance leading into what had been your playroom as a child. One entire wall is windows, with a large seat beneath them. In recent years your mother has started outfitting it as your study so now you have a desk and shelves lined with books. Moonlight spills in, giving the room an ethereal glow.
You and Severin sit down before the windows, but his posture remains slightly stiff. “It’s quiet,” he murmurs.
You sigh as you glance outside. “Unless that door is open, you can’t hear anything from outside. My mom liked it because I used to put on noisy plays with my toys.”
“I mean at home,” he grumbles. He grasps his knees tightly and keeps his eyes on the floor. “These last few weeks that you’ve not been around have been really, unnervingly, quiet. I never realized that before.”
You frown. “My mom says I’m a wild child, but was I really that bad?”
“It wasn’t bad. It’s bad now.” Severin lifts his chin and lets out a long breath. “It’s like each day sort of bleeds into the next. They’re all the same.”
“Ah, so you do miss me?” You smile down at him.
“Yes,” Severin grumbles. “Of course I miss you. You shouldn’t even need to ask.” He keeps his eyes down. “Saying goodbye didn’t even feel real. I just got it in my head that you would always be there. Guess I was being a fool.”
You look up at the moon through the window. “You could never be a fool, Severin. I still look out the window expecting to see your house.”
Severin glances outside. “You don’t have anything on your horizon for miles, do you?” One of his hands moves from his knee onto the seat. You slowly place your fingers over his, inching closer until you’re holding his hand. Neither one of you moves, but you so desperately wish that Severin would. His eyes meet yours, and you can see he’s holding his breath.
You can’t wait any longer, and you take the plunge. You kiss him, holding his face between your palms as his tusks brush against your cheek. His lips part as he gasps, and he grabs hold of your wrists. You move in closer, pressing your bodies together. His hands circle around your waist before you break apart.
“I’ve been waiting for you to kiss me since before I left!” you pant. “Why haven’t you?”
“I didn’t know. I wanted to, but I just...” He frowns and shakes his head. “I came all this way just for that kiss, and even when I had the chance, I couldn’t give it.”
You kiss him again, wrapping your arms around him. Your fingers tangle in his hair while his hands trace the boning of your corset.
“Let me be your suitor,” Severin pants. “I want to marry you!” He clasps your hands tight and squeezes them. “I love you.”
The words hammer into your heart. You nod and break into a massive smile. “I love you too, Severin.”
He touches your face, slowly moving his fingertips over your lips. “I keep thinking about you. When it first happened I thought I was crazy. I just kept wondering what it would be like to have you beside me. To sleep with you. To hold you. I was sometimes knocked breathless by how vivid my imagination was.”
“Tell me.” You take his thumb into your mouth, sucking it softly while it presses onto your tongue.
Severin’s eyes focus on yours, and he licks his lips. “I couldn’t possibly.”
“Then help me take off this dress and show me.”
His eyes widen, but he moves closer all the same. He kisses you, fumbling with the buttons of your gown. He undoes the laces of the corset, tossing aside all your underclothes until you're posed naked on the window seat. He kisses the marks left on your skin, the deep ridges left by boning and ribbon. You shudder, even though his breath is so hot against your skin.
“Now you,” you mewl, surprised by how sweet you sound. “I want to see you too.”
“I’m not beautiful like you are,” he whispers.
“Nonsense.” You sit up and cup your hands around his face. “You’re perfect.”
He sighs and rises slowly, stripping down before your very eyes. His figure is lean and strong, especially his legs. Once he’s standing naked before you, a sense of pride seems to come over him. You smirk, watching him rise to the occasion.
“What’s that smile for?” he grumbles.
You reach out, taking his cock into your hand. “So that’s where all your Orc went.”
He grabs you with a grin, and both of you fall onto the floor. Your first cries of passion come from him rubbing against you. His heavy shaft glides against your folds, getting coated in your slickness. You reach behind him, grabbing his plump rear and urging him forward. Many a night you imagined him crawling into your bed to share this pleasure with you. Much like him, your imagination is quite vivid.
He moans into your ear as he disappears inside you. His girth stretches you, but the feeling is exquisite. You cling to his back, feeling the muscle and sinew there, and his moans become growls that send pleasant shivers down your spine.
His eager thrusts smooth out, becoming long, deep pulses inside. His breathing evens as he begins to warm to your responses. “This is it,” he whispers into your ear. “It feels so much better than I could possibly imagine.”
“Severin,” you mewl. “You’re driving me crazy.”
He plunges a little deeper as he tries to calm himself. “You’ll make me come if you keep talking like that. Your voice is too good.” He kisses you, hoping to keep you quiet so he can focus. But the harder he starts to go, the higher he rises. He watches you, standing tall above you.
The way he looks in that moment, you feel every fiber of your body come alive. You take deep breaths, wanting to keep your mind clear so you can watch him as long as possible. Soon the sensations became too powerful. You thrash and close your eyes, crying out as he pulls something deep and strong from inside you. It spills out, seeping into the air and coiling around every breath. You shudder all over, screaming his name as his pleasure melts into yours.
You bathe in the moonlight, breathing deeply as your senses slowly return to you. Severin’s head is heavy on your breasts, but you enjoy the weight of him upon you. You smile to yourself, giddy in that moment that you and Severin are together.
“How are you feeling?” Severin whispers as he rises. “I can’t feel my legs, but are you OK?”
“I’m wonderful.” You stretch, posing your arms above your head. “I’ve been wanting this for so long. It finally feels good to have it.”
Severin lies beside you, gazing up at the ceiling. “Me, too. I wish I had done this properly, but I wouldn’t trade this moment for anything in the world.”
You lay your head on his chest, stroking your palm up and down. “It feels right.”
Severin takes your hand and kisses your palm. “It does, doesn’t it?” He runs his fingers through your hair. “I’ll introduce myself to your parents properly. I’ll make my intentions known and tell them the blessing I have from your grandmother.”
“It may take some effort. My mother can be hard to impress.” You sit up and kiss him. “But I’ll stand beside you. I want them to know you’re what I want.”
Severin smiles. “You really want a puny Orc like me?”
“Shh.” You press your finger to his lips. “I’m a giant, you still want me?”
Severin rises and nods. “More than anything.”
You move into his lap, kissing him as his hands encircle your hips. “Will you climb me?” you tease.
Severin smirks. “Of course I will.” He kisses you more, slowly moving his hands up your back. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
It takes time, but Severin’s persistence - and the gift of a vineyard from his family to yours - eventually wins over your parents. You become engaged, and for once, you don’t mind picking out the napkins for the party.
