This is definitely a sexy comic but there is a sensitivity to the characters and the subject matter that elevates it above a sea of exploitative trash. It is obvious that there is a lot of care and attention put into this story and while I’ve been excited to see what comes next, I’ve found myself rereading the book from the beginning. The full page layout has been used sparingly in the past and this was another brilliant time for Cosmic to utilize it. I’m loving the inner dialogue and the mental transformation and I’m excited to see how this relationship will change the dynamic, the stakes, and the drama of Danny’s journey.
