Werewolf Boyfriends: Akashi & Isaac (complete)

When you were little, you were adopted by a family in Hearthway Hollow. You had been abandoned as a baby and this was your first time with any sort of family. This new family was strange to you, because you were not used to so much affection. You didn’t believe your new parents when they said you were smart, and adorable, and that they loved you. It took you a long time to believe them, but when you did you were so happy.

Both your dads were handsome and well-liked in town. They owned the local bridal shop, which had been in your dad Albert’s family for generations. Your dad Mason was charming and exuberant and was the face of the business, while Albert handled most everything else. You were raised amongst beautiful white wedding gowns, mooning over the brides who came into the shop to find the perfect dress.

As you grew up you helped to run the shop, especially when Albert started going deaf. All of you learned sign language together, and eventually things returned to normal. Now you assist Mason in the front of the shop, and sometimes help Albert with other things in the back. You often go with Albert to his doctor’s appointments, while Mason stays and runs the increasingly busy bridal shop

One afternoon as you sit in the doctor’s office, Albert gives you a gentle nudge and points in the direction of a young man across the way.

‘He’s cute, don’t you think?’ Albert signs.

The young man is about your age - tall, lithe, with silky, untidy black hair that hangs over his forehead. He has on a striped sweater and keeps his fingers tucked up inside the sleeves. He looks Japanese, but you could be wrong. His eyes are a beautiful dark brown.

‘Dad, not now,’ you sign back.

Albert nudges back. ‘Admit it. He’s cute. I’ve seen him here before.’

‘Sure he’s cute, but we don’t have to talk about it here in the open.’ You give him a judgemental look before glancing up to see the young man signing.

‘I can hear you.’

You clap your hands over your face as Albert starts to laugh.

‘I am so sorry,’ you sign back at him.

‘So what do you think? Is my daughter cute, too?’ Albert asks.

“Dad!” you snap out loud at him.

The nurse comes out and taps the young man on his shoulder. “Akashi, the doctor can see you now.”

Akashi turns and looks back at you. ‘Thank you for saying I’m cute.’ he signs, then walks into the back with the nurse.

“You! Are! Mort-tee-fy-ing!” With each syllable you hit Albert with a magazine.

‘Is it so wrong to try and help you out?’ he asks. ‘I have good taste!’

‘Stop pushing for grandkids!’ you fuss at him. “You and Dad are awful.’ You sit back as another young man comes from the back. He has a sucker in his mouth and shockingly red and curly hair that hangs on his head like a mop. His vivid amber eyes are almost yellow in color, and have the rounded slants of a cat. You’ve seen him here before. It’s hard to forget someone like him. He has a way of staring, his eyes focusing on you.

You try to distract yourself with the magazine. You don’t like it when people stare - your guts churn and you mind wanders to various horrible things they could be thinking. ‘I knew I shouldn’t have worn this top’, you think, or ‘they must think I look so stupid.’

“Isaac,” the nurse calls out to him. “Here’s your appointment card for next week.”

“Oh yeah? Thanks.” He takes the card just as Albert is called to the back for his appointment. Then Isaac wanders over and takes his empty seat. “Silly question,” he starts off. “But would you like to go get a cup of coffee or something?”

You glance sideways at him over the magazine. “Excuse me?”

“Coffee? With me?” Isaac points at himself. “You know? Something simple before I take the plunge and marry you?”

You grimace at him. “I’m not ready for a commitment like that.”

“It’s just coffee,” he takes the sucker from his mouth, which is stained bright blue. “I’ve chickened out every single time I’ve seen you here, well, now I’m nutting up.”

“Please think before you speak,” you grumble under your breath.

Isaac sits back and takes in a deep breath. “Come on Isaac, you’ve done this a hundred times in your head...”

“Are you psyching yourself up?” you ask, darting your eyes at him. You notice his arms are covered in thick red hair as well.

“Look, I don’t know about you, but I don’t go around asking out pretty girls every day,” Isaac snaps.

“What makes you think I’m a girl?” you ask to throw him off.

Isaac stares for a long minute. “Okay, I don’t go around asking out pretty people all the time.”

“How progrsssive of you.” You shut the magazine you’ve been fake reading. “Look, I’m here to help my dad out. I’m not interested in coffee right now.”

“Maybe later?” Isaac asks. “Or maybe I should have just gone about this the usual way. Ugh, but I hate hunting!”

You furrow your brow at him. “What are you going on about?”

“You pretty, me dumb,” Isaac huffs, throwing his hands out. “Me try ask out.”

You stare at him, narrowing your eyes. He keeps saying that word ‘pretty’, but you’ve never felt pretty, not once. No matter how many times your dads assured you of it, it felt like a trick. This red-headed moron is trying to trap you somehow.

“Listen, I’m flattered.” You’re not. “But this isn’t the time.”

Isaac slouches. “Oh. I’m sorry, I just… I’ve been psyching myself out and trying to-” He shakes his head. “Doesn’t matter. You’re obviously saying no.” He chuckles to himself and runs his fingers through his hair. “Thanks for putting up with me as long as you did.”

As Isaac starts to get up, Akashi comes out from the back. He comes over to you and places a card in your hand. ‘You’re cute too,’ he signs. ‘Call me.’

Isaac glares hard at him. “You bitch,” he snarls.

Akashi turns and looks at him. ‘I’m sorry. I can’t hear you. Why don’t you fuck off and die?’

“You know I like her,” Isaac starts. “I mean, she turned me down, but still, not cool!”

Akashi smirks, his eyes glimmering from behind his bangs. ‘I’m sorry. I don’t speak loser.’

You anxiously glance between the two of them. “I’m sorry, what’s happening?”

“Don’t you worry about it,” Isaac says through clenched teeth as he glares at Akashi. “Just an argument between old friends.”

Akashi looks at you and smiles. ‘You have my number. Use it as you wish.’ He leaves the doctor’s office together with Isaac, and you’re nothing but confused.

You wake up in the middle of the night and go into the kitchen to get a glass of water. As you’re selecting a glass you hear a rumble outside. There is a loud bang, then some snapping and snarling.

As you turn on the porch light, you see two werewolves freeze in place. One has pitch-black fur, and the other has a reddish coat. Beneath them are two eviscerated deer, obviously intended for a courtship ritual. You stare at them through the window, and they slowly back away from one another.

You open the door and step out. “What the fuck?” You motion to the deer. “What the fuck is this about? Why the hell are there two of you?”

The black one rises up on its hind legs and glares down at the red one. The red one looks away, whimpering softly.

“Is this a joke?” you snap. “Are you trying to be mean?” You kick one of the dead deer. “Take them back! I don’t want this.”

“Wait!” The red one calls out as you turn to go back inside. “This isn’t a joke at all! Both of us really like you. We both feel the same way.”

You glare at them. “Oh please,” you scoff.

“It’s true,” the red one says. “We both want you to be our mate, and we will do anything to earn your favor!”

You look between them. “Are you the assholes from the doctor’s office today?”

The black wolf nods.

“No!” The red one balks, anxiously shaking his head. “I don’t… I’ve never even met you. So-” he slowly trails off.

The black one turns and glares at him.

“Isaac, right?” You point at him. “And, uhm-” You blank on the other’s name.

The werewolf lifts his hands. ‘Akashi,’ he signs.

“Akashi,” you say with a small nod. “Okay, then. Both of you - is this some sort of flex? Some sort of challenge?”

“We both like you and have the same feeling of fate,” Isaac grumbles. “So of course we’re a little competitive.”

‘We have been going to the same doctor for years,’ Akashi replies. ‘We’ve been competitive with one another since we were young.’

Isaac’s ears flatten against his head, and he grumbles something under his breath.

“Well, I’m not a game. I’m not something for you to prove to the other.” You cross your arms tight across your chest. “So take your fight elsewhere.”

“Aww, sweetie, do you have guests?”

“Oh, crap! Dad, go back to bed!” you snap.

Mason steps out onto the porch. “Oh, wow, look at this.” He kneels down to inspect the two deer. “Look at the size of these things! The antlers alone...”

“Dad, please go back inside,” you whine.

Mason grins. “Why don’t you boys come inside and let me have a word with you?” Mason says. “I’ll put on some coffee.”

“Dad!” you protest.

Mason turns and gives you a look. “I’ve been in those boys’ shoes before. I had to fight another werewolf in order to win him over.”

“You never told me that,” you hiss.

“Because I won, and that was all that mattered,” Mason says with a proud smirk. “Now let me talk to these young morons and see what’s going on.”

You frown, but let Isaac and Akashi inside. They sit down at the table while Mason puts on a pot of coffee. He lays a box of assorted cookies on the table, which Isaac reaches for instantly.

“Now, young men,” Mason sighs. “What are you intentions with my daughter? Are you in it to be with her forever, or just to one-up your little friend?’

‘I’ve been noticing her often with her other father,’ Akashi starts. ‘The first time I noticed her it was just her scent lingering behind. I was captivated by it. I was so desperate to find the source that when I finally found it, I was lost. I had no clue how to act.’

Isaac grimaces through all this.

‘When I saw her earlier today, I knew in my heart she was the mate of my dreams. I felt it like a rock to the temple.’ He then shoots a look at Isaac. ‘Seeing her with this one brought up a feeling in me I didn’t realize I had.’

Isaac sticks out his tongue at him. “Well, I noticed her first,” he scoffs. “You see, unlike some people, my nose don’t exactly work.” He taps the side of his muzzle. “Anosmia or whatever.” He rolls his eyes. “I knew right away when I saw her how my feelings were. I just… you know…” he shrugs shyly. “Not many people want a broken person.”

At this Akashi looks away with a slight nod.

“I know it’s silly. I mean, you tell someone you can’t smell and it’s just like ‘Oh, that’s it?’” He scoffs and hangs his head. “But as a werewolf, no matter how many times your told it’s okay, it’s not. A werewolf should be able to-” He grumbles and stops himself. “Anyway, I was too chickenshit until today! She told me no, but I’m stupid as hell.”

Mason stands up, fetches four mugs and places them on the table. He pours coffee into each mug, then sets cream and sugar out. Isaac instantly starts loading his coffee with sugar while, Akashi takes neither sugar nor cream.

“My husband went deaf about ten years ago. It never bothered me, I only ever worried. But it hurt him so much. He was supposed to be this big bad wolf, protect his family. So he felt the same way you do. And let me tell you, he’s still the big bad wolf of my life. If you’re lucky enough to find the right mate, your faults won’t matter to them the way you think it will.” He smiles. “As for my daughter, I don’t think the usual courtship will suffice. If you two want to earn her affections, it’s going to be hard work. But trust me, it’s worth it. She’s amazing, and in my opinion neither of you deserve her.”

You smile gently. “Thanks Dad.”

‘Then what should we do?’ Akashi asks.

“Become her friend,” Mason says with a shrug. “That’s what I did with Albert, and it gave me my edge.”

“I’d prefer that,” you murmur. “I’m not… good with dating. I don’t trust right away.” You rub your arm and smile awkwardly. “If I get to know you better, then maybe I’ll feel more comfortable getting to that point.”

“Should we…” Isaac starts unsurely. “Do it together or, like, separately?”

“Both. Whatever happens,” you reply.

Isaac and Akashi look to one another, then both nod.

‘I’ll be happy with it,’ Akashi signs.

“Same,” Isaac grumps.

Mason nods. “Then both of you can come over for dinner tonight,” he says, making your hair stand on end. “It’s our game night, so it’ll be fun to have the extra competition.”

That evening Mason and Albert make dinner, but then, suddenly, you see them walk through the living room all dressed up and wearing their coats.

“Wait” you gasp. “Where are you two going?”

‘Date night,’ Albert answers.

“Food is all ready for tonight. Your Dad and I will come home later,” Mason smiles at you, then winks.

You block their way to the door. “What about game night?”

“Oh, I completely forgot,” Mason chuckles.

“Bullshit!” you huff. “You made all that food!”

“Then you and the two boys can have it.” Mason pushes you out of the way. “Have fun, sweetie. If they get to be too much, just give us a call.”

You scoff, flapping your arms out them smacking them down to your sides. “What the fuck?”

As you set the table for dinner, the doorbell rings. Akashi and Isaac are there, dressed nicely and looking surprisingly handsome.

“Here,” Isaac offers you a cake. “I didn’t know if I should bring anything.”

Akashi places another box on top of the cake. ‘This is a tea blend I made. I thought you might enjoy it.’

“Oh, uh… thank you. Both. But there’s been a change of plans. My dads won’t be here, so-” You step aside to let them in. “There’s still dinner if you’re hungry.”

You lead them into the kitchen, setting down their gifts. “Sorry my dads sort of flaked,” you lie. “They’re embarrassing.”

‘Nonsense. I think they’re just looking out for you,’ Akashi replies.

You smile shyly. Akashi has a beauty to him that’s both gentle and masculine. You feel fluttery and nervous when you look at him. “Maybe so.”

“Maybe they just want grandkids,” Isaac says with a shrug. He’s pulled his hair back into a bun, and a few loose curls hang around his face. With his sharp features and big eyes, he’s actually quite lovely. He has a sort of wild appearance mixed with a gentle innocence.

“That too,” you sigh.

“I knew it,” Isaac chuckles. “Well then, what’s for dinner?”

You move over to the stove. “Dad made some sort of chicken pasta. If it’s not to taste I’ll order a pizza.”

‘Is your dad a notoriously bad cook?’ Akashi asks.

You shrug. “Not necessarily, but I’m used to it. Others have varying opinions.”

Isaac comes up to the stove beside you. “It takes a lot of flavor for me to notice. I’ll say what’s good.” He takes a fork and digs into the pot. After chomping down on a pretty heavy bite, you wind up ordering a pizza.

“Please don’t tell your dad,” Isaac pleads.

“Don’t worry about it. I’ve been hiding evidence since I was eight,” you chuckle. “By the way-” You tap your nose. “Do you mind me asking how your anosmia came about? Were you born with it?”

Isaac frowns. “It was an accident.”

‘Please tell her. I love this song,’ Akashi signs with a smirk on his lips.

Isaac gives him a harsh glare, opening his mouth to say something but then shutting it entirely. “It was an accident,” he says again. “I was nine, I had five brothers, all of us dumb as rocks, all of us trying to one-up each other.”

“Oh, no.” You cover your mouth.

“I’m the runt of the litter,” Isaac continues.

You can’t stop yourself. “Holy shit. You are the runt?”

Isaac gives you a look. “Yeah,” he smiles a bit smugly. “Anyway. I let my brother throw me like a ball, and, uhm-” He sighs and closes his eyes.

“Please, stop,” you hold up a hand. “I think I see where this is going.”

“Anyway,” Isaac grumbles. “I’ve been dealing with this since, along with a few other problems.”

Akashi waves, flagging your attention. ‘I have a story too, although it is nowhere near as good as Isaac’s.’

“Dude, yours is sad,” Isaacs replies, sounding genuinely sympathetic.

‘We’re sharing, and I want to share,’ Akashi replies. ‘I was abandoned as a child.’

You stare at him hard, feeling like a part of you has been ripped out. ‘Are you sure you want to talk about this?’ you sign at him.

‘I’m okay now,’ he replies. ‘Mrs. Locklear took me in when I was small and helped me find a family here. My parents didn’t want to deal with a defective werewolf, and I didn’t want to deal with them. Seems fair.’

“Raised by Mrs. Locklear,” Isaac whispers. “See? Sad.”

You give him a shove. ‘Have you ever wanted to find them?’ you ask curiously.

‘Have you ever wanted to find yours?’ Akashi asks.

You lower your gaze and shake your head.

‘I’m happy,’ Akashi replies. ‘Sure it’s a shitshow, and sure I was angry, but I am grateful to be here. I love what Mrs. Locklear did for me. I love my family, I love Hearthway Hollow, and I’m proud of the senses I have. I teach ASL to kids, I help train therapy dogs for people who are going deaf. I never would have become the person I am if things had gone swimmingly.’ He turns to Isaac. ‘And what do you do with your tragic backstory?’

You chuckle softly, wiping away a tear as Isaac fidgets in place.

“I’m a mortician,” Isaac grumbles. “My family runs the funeral home.”

‘How fitting,’ Akashi replies. ‘The mortician and the bridal consultant. It’s basically a movie.” He smiles all too fleetingly.

You find yourself enjoying their company, and you’re excited for the next time you get to hang out with them.

Over the next few weeks, you spend more time with Isaac and Akashi. Sometimes you go out together, and other times you have moments alone with each of them. Akashi has a fondness for art museums and libraries, and Isaac likes concerts and anything involving sugar. Akashi has a calm nature about him, but he is much stronger than Isaac, and much more forceful than he appears. Isaac looks like a wall of muscle, hair, and ferocity, but you’ve seen him downed like a timid kitten more than once by Akashi’s brute force.

One evening, you’re out with both of them. The night air is cold, and the streets are decorated with twinkling Christmas lights. You’re waiting in line for hot chocolate when you notice both of them are standing little ahead of you. Akashi is looking at Isaac, who is muttering over what he wants. Heart hammering, you slowly reach out and take hold of both their hands.

Akashi’s fingers squeeze yours, and Isaac looks down at you with a big grin. You smile at them both, stepping between them. You regret receiving the hot chocolate just a little bit, because it means you have to let go of their hands.

“Hey.” Isaac offers his sugary confection down to you, loaded with whipped cream, toppings, and almost everything on the menu. “Would you like to try mine?”

“Oh, sure,” you gasp. You duck your head to sample the topmost layer of whipped cream and sprinkles when Akashi moves in. He tastes it, then gently kisses you. The sugar coats his lips, and your heart flutters furiously. Akashi then moves, taking a kiss from Isaac as well.

Your eyes grow wide as Isaac melts into Akashi’s kiss. He leans in, softly moaning, until Akashi pulls away. Then you move in, kissing Isaac as Akashi releases a rare smile.

“Is this okay?” you ask the two of them. “Is this how it’s supposed to even go?”

Isaac clears his throat. “Not sure.”

‘It’s right if we say it is,’ Akashi replies. ‘Being with both of you feels better than when one of you is missing.’

Isaac nods. “He’s right.”

‘How about we go back to my place?’ Akashi asks. ‘We can talk in private.’

“Sounds good to me,” Isaac glances at you. “You?”

“I’ve been waiting for some privacy,” you giggle.

Back at Akashi’s place, not much talking is done. You’re all very quiet as you enter the dark house, stripping away your coats you go into Akashi’s bedroom. You kiss Akashi as Isaac comes up behind you, his strong hands going under your sweater. Akashi wraps his arms around you, placing them on Isaac’s thighs as his mouth opens to yours.

Isaac and Akashi kiss, both their hands moving to your body as Isaac pulls off your sweater. Akashi’s long fingers trail down your neck and trace the lace of your bra. Isaac’s hands roughly grope over your skin, squishing your breasts together before Akashi buries his face in them.

“Hey,” you whimper. “Nothing too weird, okay?”

Akashi raises his eyes. They shimmer silver in the dark room. ‘What would you like?’ he asks.

Your cheeks burn for a moment. ‘I’m not sure,’ you sign. ‘I’ve never done anything like this before.’

Isaac bites your neck, and you cry out at the sensation as it sends shivers through your body. “Would you like both of us? Or one at a time?”

“I don’t-” you pant as Akashi takes off your bra. His warm tongue laps over your nipples. “I can’t think.”

Akashi takes your hand, leading you to the bed and sitting beside you. Isaac crawls onto the mattress, already beginning to shift. He takes off your pants, kissing your soft belly and warm thighs as Akashi’s fingers knead your breasts. Then Isacc takes off Akashi’s pants and places you in Akashi’s lap, where your thigh comes to rest against his hard cock.

‘You’re smarter than I give your credit for,’ Akashi signs.

Isaac curls his lip. “Get used to it.” His long, black tongue laps Akashi’s shaft, pressing it against your folds.

You whimper, biting your lip as the mix of heat and sensations floods your body. Akashi moans, and his tongue brushes up your neck. You look down to see he has shifted - his black fur glows against your skin in the darkness. Isaac’s yellows eyes are vibrant as he stares up at you. He takes Akashi’s cock in his mouth, sucking it briefly before he helps ease it inside you. You gasp loudly, leaning back against Akashi as his long cock spears you deep inside.

Isaac’s tongue laps over your stretched labia and clit while Akashi moves inside you, thrusting his hips so he goes deeper.

“Oh, fuck,” you cry out breathlessly.

Isaac growls, gently nipping your thighs. Akashi pulls out and turns you to face him. You kneel on the bed as Isaac moves behind you, and kiss Akashi as Isaac’s thick cock eases inside you. You cry out on Akashi’s tongue, grunting as you stretch to take Isaac.

‘How does it feel?’ Akashi asks with a smirk.

“So good,” you whisper. “You both feel good.”

Akashi kisses you while Isaac moves inside you. They do this several times, trading with one another to have a turn. For what seems like an eternity, you are floating on a cloud of bliss. You watch them kiss above you, gasping softly at how lovely they are.

Akashi deftly moves behind Isaac before pushing him down on top of you. He eases himself into place, and Isaac lets out an unrestrained growl. Buried inside you, his hips still for a moment, then start to move again as Akashi does. The three of you are tangled together, moaning and gasping in pleasure until it comes over you like a lightning strike. You feel the heat deep within you, throbbing and all-encompassing. You barely remember where you are and what has happened. By the time you come back to yourself, the room is cool and quiet again, and you have Isaac and Akashi lying on either side of you.

You sigh, sinking back down into the bed. “You alright?” Isaac asks shyly.

You nod. “I’m fine,” you whisper. “Better than fine, actually. What about you?”

“I’ll be sore, but I can take it,” he says with a smug smile.

Akashi taps your cheek. ‘I hope you won’t get sick of us.’

“I don’t think so,” you sigh dreamily. “That was-” you bite back a grin. “That was wonderful.”

Come morning, you find Akashi is gone. Only Isaac remains, and he’s snoring away. You cuddle up against him, laying your head on his hairy chest. You hear his stomach growl loudly and you giggle.

“What is it?” Isaac murmurs.

You pat his stomach. “It’s talking pretty loud.”

“What’s it saying?” He yawns and stretches.

“Not sure.” You kiss him. “I don’t have a translator.”

Isaac rolls you over, kissing you and wrapping your legs around his waist. “Where’s Akashi?” he groans. “I miss his stupid face.”

“I’m not sure,” you reply. “Aren’t you supposed to be sore?”

“I can be sore and aroused. I’m a multitasker.” Then he yelps suddenly, whipping around as Akashi spanks his rear.

‘I got breakfast, you pervert,’ he signs with a smile. ‘You can eat or eat.’

Isaac pouts, getting up and finding his underwear on the ground to slip back on. You put on Isaac’s t-shirt and go to the kitchen, where Akashi has gotten takeout from the diner.

“Thank you!” You kiss Akashi. “This is so sweet.”

Isaac bites Akashi’s cheek. “Not too shabby. Trying to be romantic?”

‘Trying to make our first official weekend together something special,’ Akashi answers. ‘I also haven’t got any groceries.’ He kisses Isaac softly.

“So this is real?” you ask timidly. “All three of us are-”

“Mates,” Isaac says with a nod. “I think so.”

You look at them both, then duck your head down. The hot sting of tears comes to your eyes and you rub at them, sobbing softly as the two come to your side.

“What’s wrong?” Isaac asks.

You shake your head. “Nothing! I just-” you sniffle and sob for a moment. “I’m not used to this. I don’t… I don’t know why I deserve it.”

‘It’s not about what you deserve,’ Akashi replies. ‘It’s about how wonderful you are. We both care for you and love you, from the moment we saw you, we knew this. Whether you deserve us or not, you have us, and happily.’

You blink tears from your eyes. “Really?”

“You’re the best,” Isaac chips in. “Nothing will change our minds.”

You smile warmly and nod. “I’m really happy. I am. It’ll just take me time to get used to it.”

They both kiss your cheeks.

After breakfast, you climb back in bed together, where you lounge lazily for most of the day. Outside it starts to snow, so you take advantage of the weather by staying cozy and warm all day.

‘Not saying it has to be now,’ Akashi says over dinner. ‘But when you want, you can move in.’ His cheeks redden. ‘I don’t like being alone anymore.’

Isaac kisses him before you can. “You think you can stand me?”

‘Barely,” Akashi beams. ‘But I’d rather tolerate you than an empty house.’ He holds his arm out to you, and you join them. ‘What do you say?’

‘Of course,’ you sign. ‘I don’t want to be alone either.’
