September Update

I want to start doing monthly updates in between content releases. Otherwise I would go over a month without making a post and that just feels wrong.

First just let me say you guys are fantastic and you have no idea how much your patronage means to me. Like I have said before, what I do is a hobby and the fact that there are people out there willing to support it like you guys are is mind blowing to me.

Now about the pr0n. The newest video is almost ready. I would say 99%. I am only waiting on the last Voice Actress and SFX designer to finish (They are the same person btw). It will be posted here exclusively for a week before being publicly released on other platforms.

This video is my first time working with VA's and including dialogue in general. I am a bit nervous that the dialogue may be cringy or overbearing but we will see. I did ask for a SFX only version just in case. Also, with VA's comes costs. Don't worry, I'm not going to go broke over some voice acting but since this is my first time working with them so I was surprised by the final cost (over $200). Hopefully one day my patreon will be able to cover costs like these. Every other video I've made has been for the hefty price of free so this is quite a step up. I don't know how often I will utilize VA in the future considering the cost and the extra time spent waiting on them. Not that they're slow. It's just extra time.

I don't know how often I will do longer videos (2+ mins) in the future. I got pretty burnt out towards the end and since I finished everything on my end, I haven't spent much time on SFM. I have been messing with Blender though which I will touch on in a bit. It also creates a long gap between releases which I think looks bad. At the same time though, I see other NSFW creators and they release some smaller animations every month and it feels like, at least to me, they are limited by a monthly release schedule. Like they only have a certain amount of time to make something. You know what I mean? This means they have to put something out every so often and that ends up limiting them. There are corners cut and concessions made. I don't want that for my content. I don't want that for my hobby. For those reasons, I won't stick to a strict schedule (except for these monthly update posts) but I will try to put out more content than one video in 2 months. Trust me, I know how that looks.

Onto Blender. I have been messing with it for a bit. I got some mlp models and some non-mlp models. I've looked at what other people have made in Blender and figure if they can do it, why can't I? We're all using the same box of crayons after all. Well, after about a week, I came crawling back to SFM. Not to say I'm never going to use it again but it will have to wait until I get back to my main PC. If you aren't aware, I am currently using my laptop. I have been since May and will be until I get back home in about 2 weeks. Anyways, I also have noticed a lack of mlp Blender animations. I don't know why this is and I want to find out. I figure step one is to get a nice picture first and I am still on that step so I still have a long while to go. That doesn't mean I can't jump the gun though, so I did just that. One important part of animation is the jiggly bits. Well I had to so some extra work because the mlp models in Blender don't have jiggle physics like the ones in SFM do. It's been quite a journey and I still don't have it down pat just yet but there is some glimpse into what could be.

Beyond even that, I want to incorporate motion capture. I have a HaritoraX (full body tracking meant for VR) at home and have tried to use it in the past for something on SFM but that ultimately didn't work out. I ended up with pretty freaky results. Hopefully, with Blender it will be a bit more stable. I have had this idea for a while now and I can't wait to get home to test it out. Smaller updates regarding that will probably end up being posted on my Twitter if I end up with anything good.

If you made it this far, Thank you! Your support means everything.
