Ifrit Boyfriend: Behrouz Part One (complete)

The Brisomin Mountains of the Polar have always been my home. I’ve lived here since I was young, working in my family’s temple. We have been here for centuries, ever since Czar Parshikov began his religious persecution ages ago. He replaced our temples with cathedrals, the biggest of which still serves the royal family to this day.

We are happy where we are, regardless of that. The Brisomin allowed us a closer connection to the Goddess Medvadeva, and she has provided for us all these years. While the mountains are steeped in perpetual winter, we have found ways to grow vegetation for ourselves as well as hunt the large game that stalks in the mountains. Those who are cast out from the Polar society come to us, and we take them in as family.

Lately, because of the wars within the Empire, our numbers have grown greatly. People have been flocking here to escape the conflicts that are ravaging the world. The mountains are safe and protected. Refugees can make the journey, but armies would have a hard time traversing them.

One afternoon as I am meditating in the temple, I notice the candles flicker. There is no breeze that I can feel, yet the flames dance as if there is a storm. I stand up as the candles suddenly go out. I hold my breath, and then the fire starts to swirl around me like a cyclone.

“Lord Behrouz,” I grumble. “It has been a while.”

The cyclone flutters down into a solitary flame that turns into the Ifrit Behrouz, a tall and stout creature with a smug smile on his face. His dark grey skin is covered in vein-like cracks, showing the fire seething just below the surface. When he opens his mouth, his tongue and throat are slithering magma. His teeth are sharp onyx, and two long fangs hang from his top lip.

“One day,” he snarls, “I will scare you, Siyana.” He has one thick lock of black hair tied into a braid that falls from the crown of his head, while the rest of his head is shaved clean. Two great horns curve out from behind his ears to wrap around towards the front of his head.

“It will not be for a long time,” I grumble as I place my arms behind my back. “Perhaps when pigs fly.”

Behrouz comes close to me, our faces mere inches apart. “I’ll chuck one off the mountain then,” he sneers.

I stare blankly at him. “Why are you here?”

“Ever the Ice Queen,” Behrouz hisses. He shakes his head and walks in circles around the temple. “More and more people have been seeking refuge here, have they not?”

“Are you complaining about these poor souls?” I turn towards him with a glare. “Surely your keep has not been disturbed. People are smarter than that.”

“Not many people want to come to a place that is on fire,” Behrouz laughs. “But I have been seeing more of your hunters in my territory.”

“Oh no,” I sigh, “has someone been poaching?”

Behrouz takes something from his back and tosses it at my feet. “One of your people’s arrows,” he snarls.

I tap the arrow with my foot, then look back up at Behrouz. “Someone with bad aim, I am sure. You’re lucky it wasn’t your eye.”

“I am not here to trade barbs, Siyana,” Behrouz snarls. “Explain yourself! We had an agreement. I keep my men off your grounds, you keep yours off mine!” He drags his bare toe across the ground leaving a burnt, black line in the wood. “We do not cross,” he growls.

“Do you have any proof besides an arrow?” I ask.

Behrouz chuckles. “You think I am a fool, don’t you, Siyana?” He claps his hands around his waist. “How long have we known one another?”

“Too long,” I roll my eyes.

“And in all this time, you’ve always thought me the fool.” He cracks his neck. “I can see it in those bleak, dead eyes of yours. Good thing your body is better looking.”

“You say that every time, Behrouz,” I scoff. “Please, get to the point. You interrupted my meditation. If I can’t complete it, I can’t make a promise for your safety.”

“It gets me hot when you threaten me.” The flames under his skin glow brighter. “Fine. You think I am stupid, but trust me, I am not.” He puffs out his chest. “I have the sucker who fired the arrow in my custody, just outside your village.”

I furrow my brow.

“There’s a reaction.” Behrouz grins. “Come with me now so you can see for yourself.” He crooks his finger, beckoning me to follow as he kicks open the doors.

I follow him into the snow. Beyond the gates, I can see two Ifrit guards with one of my hunters. One of the Ifrits has a Glacier Boar on his shoulders. I open the gates and allow them just inside, and the Ifrit tosses the Glacier Boar at my feet. Behrouz takes hold of my hunter and rips off his hood.

“Recognize this one?”

My eyes widen ever so slightly. It’s my brother, Brantov. His face is bruised, and a cut runs down his cheek to the corner of his mouth. He looks at me, then casts his eyes away. I can already tell he is guilty.

“What have you done to him?” I snarl at Behrouz. I try to approach him, but the Ifrit guard keeps me at bay.

“He threw the first punch,” Behrouz scoffs. “Shot one of my men too.”

I glance towards my brother. “Is this true?”

My brother bows his head low. “I am sorry, Siyana.”

I glance back to Behrouz and stiffen my jaw. “Since it is my brother who committed these crimes, I take on the responsibility of his actions. I don’t know his reasons for taking them, and right now, I am far too angry to listen to them.” I glare into Behrouz’s dark eyes. “Please release him.”

Behrouz clicks his tongue then breaks into a wide grin. “And what do we get in return? He broke our laws, he trespassed, he shot at one of my men, and he started a fight. I’m looking for justice, Siyana.”

I take a slow, calming breath, then fold my hands together. “Then let me take the punishment.”

“Siyana, no!” Brantov shouts.

“Shut up!” I snap at him. “You have lost this fight! Do not start another one!”

Brantov cowers in shame while I turn my glare back on Behrouz. “Hunters are few and far between here, but Priestesses like me are numerous right now. I trust my girls to take my place and do what is right. So punish me, Behrouz, but do not punish my people.”

Behrouz turns to his men and says something in their language. The guards drop Brantov, then pass out of the gate and walk away. “Now, you - get out of here.” Behrouz pushes Brantov, who runs back into the village.

“Just you and me, Siyana,” Behrouz growls. “No one to argue, no one to stare.” He folds his arms across his chest. “Do you honestly mean to take the fall for your brother?”

A harsh wind picks up and cuts across my cheeks. “I do.”

“Where do you sleep at night?” Behrouz asks.

I almost let my demeanor break in that moment. “Excuse me?”

“Do you sleep alone or surrounded by your girls?” Behrouz rolls his hand in the air. “Come on now, quick answers.”

“It depends,” I gasp. “On colder evenings, I sleep with my girls, but I have my own quarters for the sake of privacy.”

Behrouz grins. “Perfect. I’ll send a new bed, one that is better suited for my needs. Place it in your private room when it arrives.”

I glare at him, trying to cut him with my gaze. “What are you talking about?”

“Your punishment,” Behrouz chuckles. “You are to sleep with me every night until the crime is paid for.”

I still my hands so I do not slap him. It would be an act that would hurt me more than him. “One night would be far too much for just a dead boar!” I snarl through clenched teeth.

“Don’t forget your brother’s other crimes.” Behrouz smirks. “I know you aren’t used to such heat, Siyana, but not to worry, I’ll be gentle with you.”

“What makes you think you can claim this is justice?” I growl at him.

“It’s either this, or I execute your brother. Your call, Siyana,” Behrouz says with a shrug. “Share a bed with me each night, that’s all I ask.”

I glare at him. “That is all? Just sharing?”

Behrouz’s tongue darts across his lips. “What else could I possibly mean?” His eyes dart over me. “What is going through that pretty mind of yours, Siyana?”

I grimace and take a step away from him. “Fine. I agree to your terms.”

“Then your penance will start tomorrow,” Behrouz says with a grin. “I look forward to seeing you in your negligee.” He leaves the gates while I storm back into the village.

I find my brother in the temple, waiting for me, and immediately start flailing my fists at him. “You idiot! You bastard!” I scream. “You have done this to me! You fool! You imbecile!”

“Siyana, I’m sorry!” He cries out as he tries to dodge my attacks. “Don’t hit my ribs, they already hurt too much!”

I kick him in the groin, and he topples like a termite infested tree. “Do you know what you have done?” I scream at him as he goes fetal on the floor. “That beast wishes me to be his bedmate!”

Brantov is sobbing and whining on the floor.

“Are you even listening?” I scoff and shake my head. “It doesn’t matter. The deal is struck. It’s all done.” I sit down before the altar and take in a deep breath. “Oh, help me, Medvadeva,” I pray. “Help me to remain calm and temperate during these trying times.”

“You didn’t have to kick me,” Brantov cries.

I turn to stare down at him. “You didn’t have to go hunting in Ifrit territory! You didn’t have to shoot at an Ifrit! You didn’t have to start swinging!” I turn back to the altar. “I don’t care for your reasons. So don’t try to feed me excuses.”

“I’m sorry,” he groans. “But that doesn’t mean you have to-”

I whip around to give him such a heated look he stumbles back onto the ground. “I saved your neck! You do not get to tell me anything! Now get out of here! That boar is still at the gate.” I snap my attention back to the altar as he scrambles from the temple.

I sigh as my body goes limp. “Please, Medvadeva,” I pray. I clasp my hands above my head and shake them for emphasis. “Please give me strength. Give me the wisdom to handle these nights. I am not sure I am strong enough to survive them.”

I spend my last night without Behrouz with my girls. I lie amongst them, listening to their sleepy, idle chatter before dozing off. The next day, the bed Behrouz told me about is delivered and set up in my quarters. It takes up most of the room, and the four posts of the iron frame nearly scrape across the ceiling. I suppose the bed frame is necessary, considering how hot Ifrits can become.

That evening, I meet Behrouz at the gate to let him in. As he steps inside, he has a massive grin on his face I so desperately wish I could smack off.

“Are you ready for me, Siyana?” Behrouz chuckles.

“Of course not,” I grumble.

“I didn’t expect you to be. No one is.” He tilts his head. “Now, show me to our bed,” he laughs.

I bite down hard on the inside of my cheek, then walk away silently. I lead him inside where my girls are peeking from doors to watch us. I hear soft giggling and tittering, followed by a mix of excited or scared whispers.

“I see the bed made it.” Behrouz dips down to clear the doorframe as he enters my room. “How do you like it?”

“Not to my taste,” I reply.

Behrouz pats the mattress. “I promise, you’ll sleep like a baby.” He starts to remove his clothes, so I jerk my head away.

“No need to be modest, Siyana,” he chuckles. “You’ll have to get used to it. I prefer to sleep naked.”

“What?” I blurt at him. “No! There is no way!”

Behrouz unlatches his belt, and his loincloth falls away. I keep my gaze elevated; I won’t allow myself to look down.

“Please,” I snarl, “put something on!”

“I get too hot,” he chuckles. “Why? What do you wear?” He sits down on the edge of the bed. “With me, you won’t be needing much.”

I grimace at him, remaining still.

“What?” Behrouz smirks. “Are you nervous to undress in front of me?”

I turn my head away.

“No need to be shy, Siyana. A figure like yours deserves to be seen.” He lays down on the bed. “But since this is our first night, I’ll be kind and close my eyes.”

I look down at him. His eyes are closed, and his forearm is placed over them. I try to undress as carefully as possible, but it is hard. I finally slip into my nightgown, then quickly crawl into bed. As I try to pull the covers over me, Behrouz pulls the blanket away.

“Is that what you wear?” He scoffs.

“It’s cold!” I snap at him.

“You’re sleeping beside a furnace.” Behrouz takes hold of my hand and places it on his chest. I think for sure my palm will melt off, but the heat coming from him is actually quite comfortable.

“Imagine this getting roasty-toasty under a blanket. That heavy nightgown would get awfully hot, wouldn’t it?” Behrouz purrs.

“I won’t give you the satisfaction,” I huff back at him. “I’ll sleep without blankets.”

Behrouz’s eyes linger on my body before he gazes into my eyes. “What’s better is skin to skin,” he hisses. “Pressing against one another under the blanket. Your back against my chest, your rear in my, well-” he chuckles.

“You’re disgusting!” I snarl at him.

“I intend to be a gentleman, Siyana, I promise you that. But will you remain a lady?” He licks down his fangs. “I know women have the same appetites that men do. I would hate for you to take advantage of me while I am vulnerable.”

I roll my eyes. “A gentleman, I’m so sure,” I scoff. “A gentleman wouldn’t sleep naked next to a lady.”

“I told you already, I’m too hot for that,” he laughs. “But I’ll keep the covers between us. Will that work for you?

I simply lay down with my back facing him. “Go to sleep. The sooner we sleep, the faster this gets over with.”

Behrouz chuckles. “Good night, Siyana, pleasant dreams.”

I grumble some rather profane things under my breath before I fade into sleep.

For the first few hours, everything is alright. Nothing out of the ordinary, except the beast laying beside me. I fall asleep, but not for very long. I wake up drenched in sweat, unbearably hot and sticky all over. I lift up my nightgown to get some air, shaking it out to let a cool breeze circulate through.

“I told you it would be too hot,” Behrouz snarls sleepily from his side of the bed.

“Leave me alone,” I growl.

“Just take it off. Who are you hurting?” He huffs.

“The question isn’t about hurt, but who I am helping. You just want to see me naked,” I pant.

“Of course I do. I’m sane, aren’t I?” He snarls. “But what does it matter now, when I’ll soon be asleep again?”

I frown and lay back, trying to fall asleep, but the heat becomes prickly and unbearable. I sit up to look him over. From my spot, he appears to be asleep. I stand up and strip away the nightgown. Laying back in bed, I feel so much better. I sigh, letting my skin cool as I begin to drift to sleep. I can sleep in any cold weather I want, but this heat will take some getting used to.

Come morning, I sit up in bed to see that Behrouz is still slumbering away. His big body takes up a lot of space on the bed, but one of his legs is hanging over the edge. I then see his cock laying against his thigh. I don’t mean to look at it, but my eyes become locked on it. It’s so… so… big. The shaft is pitch black, with veins of smoldering fire and a tip glowing like a liquid drop of lava.

It twitches.

I flinch away, but my eyes remain glued to it. I feel horrible staring, and I know I should look away in repulsion, but I am fascinated all the same.

The twitching leads to it rising off his thigh. It grows thicker, longer, until it’s so heavy it flops against his stomach. Behrouz then grumbles in his sleep, rolling over onto his side so his dick is hidden from my sight.

I sigh with relief as I’m released from its spell. I get up, wrap the blanket around me and go to gather my clothes.

“Oh, come on now,” Behrouz growls. “Don’t tell me you’re an early riser.”

I try to ignore him. “You can sleep,” I sigh. “I’m not telling you to get up or anything. Just continue your usual routine.”

“I can’t sleep if you don’t sleep,” Behrouz growls. “I’m a very light sleeper. Any sudden move and I am wide awake.”

I glance back towards him, wondering if he knew all along that I was watching his morning wood sprout and grow.

“I like long, lazy mornings, Siyana,” he grunts as he stretches. “Perhaps I can teach you how to enjoy them.”

“I have a lot of work I need to do in the mornings,” I snap at him. “So as long as I am awake, you might as well take your things and go.”

“No wonder it’s taken until now to get someone in your bed. No one likes to lie with the Ice Queen.” He stands up and his thick cock bobs between his thighs, still quite hard.

“No one asked you!” I hiss at him. “Get your clothes on and go! I want to forget about you until tonight.”

“I doubt you will.” Behrouz laughs.

He must know I was watching. I remain silent as he gets dressed. I keep the blanket around me, not wanting to drop it until he leaves the room.

“Aren’t you going to walk me to the gate?” Behrouz asks.

I flinch and cling the blanket tighter around me. “You’re a grown man, can’t you walk yourself out?”

Behrouz clicks his tongue. “You meet me at the gate and you leave me at the gate. Those are the rules. So you need to get dressed. Far too cold to walk around outside in that.” He then motions to himself. “We’re both naked here, nothing to be ashamed of.”

I glare angrily at him as I drop the blanket to the floor. His eyes bulge slightly, and the glow of the fire under his skin intensifies to a brilliant white. I feel a heat in my own loins as he stares at me. For some reason, I am taking pleasure in it.

“Disgusting,” I breathe.

Behrouz growls. “I knew you were beautiful under all those furs. Hell, you were beautiful with them.” He turns his back to me as he starts dressing. “These nights will be torture for me now.”

“They will hold no pleasure for me either.” I quickly get into my clothes but the heat between my thighs still lingers, turning into a faint, dull ache.

“I’m ready to leave,” Behrouz growls. “How about you?”

“Of course I am ready to see you walk away.” I open the door and lead him out. “That’s my favorite part.”

I am glad for the cold wind whipping around outside. It tosses up the snow and helps me to cool down from the heat of the bedroom. Behrouz keeps pace beside me until we reach the gate. He grabs me there, holding his arm around my waist.

“Let me go!” I snap at him. “Who said you could touch me?”

“I didn’t want to say anything in the village, let alone in that temple,” he snarls into my ear. “But you have full permission to touch me anytime you so desire, Siyana.”

“You’re a pig!” I try to shove against him but he keeps me held.

“If you have frustrations you need to work off, or even if you just need a gentle touch, you have me on the darkest of nights.” Behrouz lets go of me. “Just making the offer.” he then presses his finger to his lips. “But you have to remember, you must keep quiet. That temple has ears.” He leaves the gate as I stand there, silent and bewildered.

“Until tonight,” Behrouz chuckles.
