April! Flatting, Streaming, and Recommendations

Flatting continues at a pace! What kind of pace is it? Well, it's certainly a pace. (Only fourteen more pages to prep!)
Streaming!
Remember when I said, "ugh I'll need a second computer to do a proper live stream?" Well, it turns out I do have a second computer that is up to the task, sort-of. I bought myself a capture device, hooked it all up, and tested it out. The stream PC didn't melt down entirely over the course of an hour and a half, so I'm throwing my hat back into the ring.
I've scheduled two streams on YouTube -
One for Thursday April 4th, at 10:00am Pacific (tomorrow morning, as of this writing),
and one for Saturday April 6th, at 1:30pm Pacific.
The goal in both streams will be to flat two pages, each within an hour. Since I started keeping track, I have succeeded at this three times and failed three times. Come see how I fare!
They are "unlisted" streams, which means they're exclusive to you, Dear Readers (unless you pass the link around). This is why I'm using YouTube, because Twitch doesn't let me serve up relatively private streams, I think. Still, I can't shake the feeling that Twitch would be a better platform. If you have any input on this, please share it in the comments!
Chapter Four Patron Acknowledgements!
The Chapter Four Patron Acknowledgements survey/form is up right now. If you've filled one out before, this is optional — if you don't fill this out, I'll use your preferences from last time.
If you'd like to change anything, you're more than welcome to!
There's still a while before I put the comic out publicly, so there's plenty of time. But don't do what I do every year with my taxes, which is to put it off to the very last minute.
More details in last week's post.
Recommendations!
There are two historical highwayman shows out right now - DICK TURPIN and RENEGADE NELL. I suspect that someone saw all the online fervour for OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH and started pitching "OFMD, but without all the Boat Stuff." What is a highwayman but a Land Pirate? Boat Stuff is expensive, so makes a show harder to produce. But this is just a guess.
DICK TURPIN is on AppleTV+ and stars one of my favourites — Noel Fielding — but I haven't got around to watching it yet, and a reliable source has not given me reason to be optimistic.
I did start RENEGADE NELL, and despite hating the name AND not especially enjoying the first bit, it had grown on me by the end of the first episode. I'm now about half way through and it's moving in a direction I like. It looks nice, our hero is charismatic, and it's funny and quippy not in a comedy sort of way but in the way you want from an adventure story.
RENEGADE NELL features Nick Mohammed, who also happens to be in the current season of TASKMASTER. (I love TASKMASTER.)
Meanwhile, EXTRAORDINARY's second season is out and it continues to live up to its name.

Hmm I should probably file my taxes. Nah, it can wait another week.
Until next week,
I remain,
funny and quippy, but not in a comedy sort of way,
