Vote in the FONT SHOWDOWN!

As promised, the poll for the Font Showdown!

How to vote? However you like!

You can vote for more than one, which also means you can effectively vote against one or two, if you like.

In C, D, and E, please be kind about the appearance of the capital "I" (it should be barred, like in A and B), and the apostrophes might look weird. These are limitations of the "Trial" versions of these fonts.

I've set an end date for two weeks from now, but please, if you're going to vote, vote with your gut and/or your heart, two organs which are quick deciders. Don't think about it too much.

Here are your contenders…

aaaanddd, the same candidates in a different setting…

Thank you all for your consideration and insight!

Your friend in fonts,

TC

I thought "Anything except B" but B seems to be winning.

Ha ha ha ha, "too like papyrus" - damning words indeed! :)

Tony Cliff

A is too light; c and d are too like papyrus; I liked E for elegance but it needs more leading and letterspacing for better readability. Maybe use for display emphasis only. B is most readable without being clunky.
