Crocman Boyfriend Jason (special preview)

I find out that Lola writes fanfiction, and that usually what she was doing on the train. She either would write on her phone, or she would read it. 

“I know it’s silly,” she murmurs. “But it’s so much fun and I’ve made a lot of really good friends because of it.”

“I don’t really have a creative bone in my body,” I say. “So to me, I think it’s pretty impressive you can write like that.”

Lola’s smile is so bright and pretty, I love the way her soft cheeks blossom when she does. “I know this going to sound weird,” she says. “But would you ever want to read any of it?”

“Depends,” I chuckle. “Would I get it if I’ve never seen the show you’re writing for?”

“Surely you’ve seen it,” she gasps. “You have watched the Ruby Empire right? Or have you read the books?”

“That show about the tigers?” I ask.

“Not the show about the tigers!” Lola barks. “They’re Rakshasa! And there’s so much more to it than that.” She scoffs and gets a determined look on her face. “That settles it then.” She turns to her phone and starts typing something.

“Settles what?” I laugh.

“Do you want the DVDs or the books first?” Lola glares at me.

I smirk. “You’re going to force me to watch the show and read the books so I’ll understand your fanfiction better?”

“No!” Lola slaps my arm. “I’m going to force you to watch and show and read the books so you’ll enjoy it! The books are so good and the TV show is so pretty! I know you’ll like it! You’re going to love King Niran.” Her cheeks then flush with color again.

“King Niran?” I ask.

“He’s the lizardfolk king,” she murmurs, tucking her hair behind her ear. “He’s kind of my favorite character,” she looks almost guilty about something.

“Oh!” I smirk at her. “That’s why you thought I had a tragic backstory! I look like this Niran guy.”

“A little!” Lola yelps.
