Proof of Life #223: The start of a new week for the start of a new update

I hope you've been enjoying the new update, and for those who haven't had access to it yet, it'll be out tomorrow for the Grunt tier Patrons and around the middle of next month for the public version : )
I'll keep this PoL short, as I only started working on the new update yesterday. As per people's choice during the last poll I did, Update 14 will be dedicated to Lily to allow her to catch up with the others a little.
I already have a good idea of what I want to do with her for this update, which might end up being slightly different than what I've done so far for the other heroines. What I can say so far is that it will involve some kind of magic artifact, but no brainwash or hypnosis or anything of the likes.
Also, Tavros might have a role to play in this one, although the whole Nezar/Lily pair will still take priority. Leto will also take an active role, but not really, but yes really. Wait, what's that about Lily's family again?... Sounds confusing? Don't worry, it'll all be revealed in due time ; )
With each update, I try to take into account the various kinds of feedback I've received in the past to better structure my quests and their contents. I hope it'll show in this one.
I know Lily might not be everyone's favorite, but I like her, and I'll keep working hard to make her storyline worth playing, even if I die trying! : D

I didn't care about Lily at all when I first played, but now with the recent update I found myself a little disappointed at the fact Lily wasn't involved. So I'd say you've been pretty effective in making her storyline worthwhile.

2024-05-22 14:28:35 +0000 UTCI think a way for Haylen & Lily to be incorporate in they corrupted state in the main quest is that before the star of the MQ you give a warning that the following quest contain spoiler from the respective SQ and if you want to experience the full story complete the following quest, so you can either chose to go complete the SQ or continue with the MQ with the narrative being like the SQ has already been completed. I hope I make sense with this and what I'm trying to say

Maybe it's because she's a change of pace, maybe it's because her progress has been slow enough that she won't feel like the game is suddenly rushing as it did with Rose in update 13. I don't know. Regardless of why I'm looking forward to it.

I tend to stay away from hypnosis or other such works as I prefer to see a long and methodical personality alteration/corruption rather than simply wiping it out, unless hypnosis has a really restrictive set of rules and simply allows for light suggestions and nudges in a certain direction.

2024-05-20 16:47:31 +0000 UTCI love Lily! I think her storyline has the most potential (next to our Princess). I am really looking forward to this update. She just might be more unpopular because there's so little content for her yet and it's unclear still where this will go.

2024-05-20 15:50:38 +0000 UTCI like Lily, it just feels like her story doesn't get much attention compared to the other girls so I'm glad she's next; after all, she's the only girl left that hasn't gotten the D. I'm glad you aren't going down the hypnosis route, I've never been a big fan of that. I like it when the girls get corrupted by the actions of the people around them, it is much more enjoyable. The magic artefact that Rose uses works well since she chooses to have sex to power it. Looking forward to this update and 13 when I get to play it next month. Keep up the good work!
