Proof of Life #217: Can't make a good game without some drama, right?

The weather keeps acting up, alternating between hot and cold, and that sucks. Fortunately, I work inside, so I'm not affected all that much^^
I've made good progress this past week. I've finished the first scene of the new update, tested it (save for a few sprites I still need to add), and moved onto the rest of the story, which will see more interactions between Cyanna and Rose (and Leto too).
I've also been hard at work making a few new maps, since a lot of the action will take place outside of the Harbor District, and will thus require a lot of new environments. I've done about half of them, and then I took a break in-between to work on the story again. I really like making maps, but as with everything, it's better to do it in moderation. Hopefully, I can offer a sneak peek of them next PoL along with some sexy shots, we'll see.
This update will offer will offer a new kind of progress in terms of corruption, one some people will definitely enjoy and others... maybe a bit less. But that's the nature of things. If I could do things that please absolutely everyone, be sure I'd do it in a heartbeat. Also, it just fits the story too well for me not to do it.
Be prepared for some more drama between our duo of heroines, and some more progression in their relation to each other. It might not be on the same level as the last main quest, but it'll be in the same vein, so look forward to that too~

It would be a little silly for them to still be feuding over Leto considering what they do in their spare time, and their work hours, and before bed...

2024-04-08 15:22:15 +0000 UTCMaybe the Duke will target Cyanna and Ulrod will target Rose, sparking the competitiveness and rivalry between Rose and Cyanna. But instead of Leto, the object of possessiveness is their corruption partner? If that it's the case it will deffo be a miss for me, I think that the NTR flavor is stronger when the bond between corrupter and corrupted is deeper, and the exchange of partners if done too soon lessens that in my opinion.

2024-04-08 14:47:59 +0000 UTCI know that the Update is still relatively early in development so you might not have a definitive answer to this, but do you think you'll be able to squeeze this entire Main Quest into Update13 or is it going to be like most previous MSQs where you divide the quest into multiple Updates ? Originally i was gonna ask whether or not you're gonna add the new portraits for Rose and Cyanna, but then i figured that you'd only add them at the end of this quest, which might not even happen in Update13 as far as i know, so this felt like a more appropriate question.
