Proof of Life #181: Where's Wally?
Added 2023-06-12 20:57:02 +0000 UTCOkay, so the title makes no sense, but I didn't know what to write, and this image reminded me of my old "Where's Wally" books when I was a kid. Plus, there's a little something that's hard to spot in the image, so it checks out : ) Can you find Wally?
With that said, a fine morning/afternoon/evening to you folks! You might have noticed this PoL comes a tad bit earlier than usual. Well, it's because I'm tying to fix my sleep schedule, and I'm slowly moving from my usual 6am to 1pm "night" to a more normal 1am to 8am one. Thus, you can expect future PoLs to come always a little bit earlier in the coming weeks.
So, about the game, I'm at a point where all I'll be making until release are H scenes. Rose will have her 3 scenes (1 is done, 1 needs testing, and 1 remains to be implemented), and I managed to add a little extra to the story so I could add a short scene with Cyanna as an extra as well as show off her new outfit (same as Rose, nothing too extra, more like small edits), and put the extra-scene somewhere in there.
That means a good amount of work still left to be done, knowing scenes usually take the longest amount of time to make. With that said, I'll be going back to work and end this PoL here ; )

There's Waldo for North America, Wally for many areas of Europe, Australia, and South Africa, Charlie for France, Walter in German, and Holger in Danish. I'm glad you're committed to the freeroam scenes, they're one of the things I really enjoy about your games. With a lot of the RPGMaker or similar hentai games the overworlds are either barren and empty or they engage very heavily in implying things are going on in the overworld. A locked door here, a speech balloon with a heart in it there, but nothing to really indicate anything going on. So the fact that you go to that effort is greatly appreciated. The free roam scene with Cyanna and Ulrod in the shower was great, it wasn't much but replacing an older more chaste scene with a perverted one was a great change, made for a nice surprise.

However, I promise those scenes will never be relevant in the story or the corruption, they'll simply include some extra fetishes and different situations, as they did in HC2.

2023-06-12 22:20:52 +0000 UTCActually, they're called "Where's Charlie" in my mother tongue, but since I wanted to be a bit more international, I looked it up and Google said it was "Where's Wally" in English. Guess it depends on the country. I always add freeroam scenes into my updates (unless most of the action takes place outside the city), at the rate of 3-4 per update, ideally. So yes, I'll be adding some in this update, but I'm not sure how many yet.
