Proof of Life #158: About next Update

Can you believe I first started working on HC3 around mid-January, and the year is about over as I release the 2nd update? Times flies by so fast...
A few reminders: Update 1 will be released to the public tomorrow (the 20th), and the 5$ version of Update 2 will be out on the 22nd, so next Thursday.
As you might have expected, I have little to say on the development of the next update, having barely spent any time on it. I have a relatively complicated segment in mind that will require new outfits, new sprites, and a completely new map I'm working on right now. Not much to show for now, so I simply added the artist's finished version of Haylen's 2nd picture for the character screen in this post. Doesn't look much different than what I already posted last time, just better quality, and a hat! : )
So, now, the gist of this post: I'm sorry to announce that the next update will be delayed by around 10 days, to the end of January.
There are a few reasons for this:
1) Christmas and New Year's coming up, as well as my birthday, my mom's, and my sister's. So I'll be taking a few days of to relax a bit and celebrate.
2) If it was just that, I'd take like 5 days off, but I will also have to stay in another country for about a week for visa-related stuff so I can move to another continent in a few months. I spent my Sunday filling up forms and booking hotels + tickets among other things to get ready. I will still be developing the game while over there, but I can't be certain I will be able to maintain my normal working schedule, so I'll be adding a few more days of delay just to be sure.
I'm sorry to announce a delay after another delay. Rest assured though, I'll still try to work whenever I can (within reasons), so at worst, you'll get a normal-sized update, and if everything goes well, it'll have more content than usual. Btw, next update will have some Lily and some Haylen ; )
That's about it for this week. I'll see you for the last PoL of the year next week ; )

Good priorities, Rose and Cyanna seem the most developed so far, and have IMHO the most potential. Have a nice holiday and chill for a bit so you can comeback with a fresh mind and full force

2022-12-25 18:40:43 +0000 UTClool damn I legit forgot about rose...hopefully we get a lot of free-roam scenes like last game.. dude I love the side story content though like bully and mom and fishmarket girl and debtor, hopefully as the bad guys get more power the town gets more lively curropted.

And dude enjoy ur break !! hopefully the break will inspire some new Heylen scenes ;)...
