Maybe do either Cleavage or shorten the dress. If the dress is some sort of gift after their relationship has progressed, I can see both shortening and cleavage being suitable.

As a frequenter of F95 I just want to commend this community on its lack of leaking, which is crazy, and honestly why I even signed up. N_Taii has always been a great dev and I'm happy to support.

I don't know when this image will appear, let me guess, maybe after the first sex? I think I'll answer with two hypotheses. Before Corruption - During Corruption - After Corruption If you're anticipating splitting the clothes into these three phases, I think that's fine, only needing to change the clothes again closer to the end. But if you want more variety, say the suit came out after a couple of dates and Haylen was advised to change her look, I think it's a bit much. Because there is no turning back, the fabric can only be less and less, and then the belly button can be exposed, but it will be difficult to design in the next stage, and the characteristics of the priestess must be retained. Personally I'd love to see the second case, but considering the budget, I think I'm perfectly fine with the first :) But... it's a pixel game, I don't think there's a need to order a custom version of Haylen's skirt, if you don't need to re-order the pixel character, maybe the first step is to make the pixel character open a few chest buttons, and then Shorten the skirt, and finally change the picture until a certain larger step.

@BirthdayParty I like that idea. From what I got from the comments, I'll probably have the artist reduce the size of her cleavage and add a slit along her left ankle, not too high so it's not too revealing.

As others have noted, a lot depends on how many steps you're intending. This is fine for 4 or maybe 5 steps (depending on just *how* lewd you intend to have the final step be), but with any more than that, this is probably too much for the first step. EDIT: On the topic of "how lewd," any chance you're intending to have any of the menu portraits have "effects" like slightly bulging cheeks with a little semen leaking out the corner of the mouth (probably alongside a curly hair), erect nipples, wet spots near the crotch, semen leaking down a leg, etc? It would probably be a bit much to have these linked to recent scenes/freeroams, but maybe there would be a way to have them randomly show up once she starts doing the relevant activity (erect nipples when she starts masturbating/getting groped, slightly semen-stained clothing when she starts giving HJ's, bulging cheeks when she starts giving BJ's, wet crotch when she starts receiving cunnilingus/having protected sex, leaking semen down her leg when she starts having unprotected sex, and finally being completely covered in semen when she starts doing group sex)?

I don't really know when this portait will appear, if it's just for what we already saw I'd say it's too soon, if it matches what's happening in the story I'd say it could be ok... a bit too little info to go off here. I’m in agreement with the others. If you’re planning for 1-3 stages, I’d keep the changes as is. But if you’re planning for more, than I’d restrict it to either the cleavage or dress for the first one, not both. Loving the progress! (Copied from previous post)

Let me put it like this. I am rather a fan of MANY smaller (gradual) changes then of SOME or ONE big change. So I would advocate to rather implement two small changes instead of one but only if this implies that both those changes would happen over the same time frame then the one big change (rather make two pictures out of this and add them shortly after). This way the change feels more gradual and natural.

I mean sure, i said it matter of factly so it's on me but it was purely a guess i assure you, after reading that this image will not be added in the upcoming update it was logical for me to assume that first we get more of Haylen's story and after 1 or 2 scenes involving her is when we get the portrait. Just because we don't get the new image in this update doesn't necessarily mean that we're gonna get it in the one after that, Haylen could easily get another quest in January that would advance her story to a point where this new portrait in more appropriate than the one we have now, but as i was saying before, this is only my guess, since there is only one person who knows what's gonna happen in this game, and that ain't me.

To my understanding, the next update seems to focus on the main story? Specifically, to Cynna's first event. Lily and Haylen are side content that have progression separate from the main story, so what you're saying isn't necessarily true. Like I've said before, it's hard to judge this without any context. IE. When exactly this portrait change happens, how many are planned, etc.

Also, saying "It's too early" for a reason not to have this portrait doesn't even make sense, directly above the poll it says that these images will not be added in the next update. Her story will have advanced by the time you see this image ingame.

I guess it all depends on how far you want to take the portraits and how frequently you want to change them, as for me, i'd say this is totally fine for a first transformation. I think it's unnecessary to commission another portrait that looks exacly the same but with the old skirt or without the boobs only to get this one as the one after that. Progressively changing their portraits is a nice feature and i was really hoping to see it when i first played the game but there is no need to change it every time something happens to them.

Maybe a compromise would be adding a slit parallel to her legs on the dress? That way, she still shows off some leg, but not to the extent she is in her current design? It would even be a change that could be reasonably explained, her current outfit looks kind hard to move around in if it's that formfitting/tight on her body. I agree that it would be logical to keep her legs covered. Might even be something the love interest could comment on. As in, wanting to see more of her legs. I also agree with your assessment on the expression N_Taii.

But from my perspective, it is something quite embarassing? At least with the current design. She's essentially only wearing a dress shirt that's long enough to cover the top of her legs in her new design. No pants. She's wearing nothing else underneath aside from underwear judging from the picture. So she's literally one button away from flashing her panties. I'm with Mr. V in that her legs should still be covered. But it is kinda hard to judge progression without knowing the other stages or how many there will be.

Yes, I wondered whether I should keep the legs covered or not. As for the expression, I'd rather have it "neutral"on the 1st one, as in "the change isn't so lewd that I'd need to be embarrassed about it". Then she gets more embarrassed, then more accepting as she starts to embrace her new sexuality.

I think it doesn’t really match the pacing you’re going for. I’d go for either the legs or the boobs on the first stage. It would also be niece if she looked more embarrassed on the earliest levels.
