Proof of Life #126: progress report #14. A little 5 minutes video.

Hey guys and gals, N_Taii here with a lilttle different PoL this time. Well, the contents are the same, but instead of a picture, I added a short video to show you a bit of the game, how to change some of the features, etc...

It's not much, and the video is really low-quality because I used a free screencap software to take it, but it'll give a better idea of what the game looks like and how it plays. It's nothing new though, but I thought it'd be nice.

Apart from that, this week I have: added NPCs on the map for the prologue's 1st day. There are like 40+ of them already, but I've already used almost all of them for events/story-related cutscenes/fill the map up. Taking that into account, I'll probably need 100+ of them to if I want to switch them around between different days. That means commissioning some more outfits. Also, some of them move around the map. Implementing that properly took a really long time. (The first dwarf is on the map too, you can see him near the forge at the very beginning of the video).

I've also modified the map a little bit so there is a feeling of "time has passed" between the main story and the prologue. You can overhear this couple talking about opening a shop next to an empty stall. A few years later, there's an actual shop there. I haven't done too much though, or it would have taken too much time.

Lastly, for the remaining time, I've progressed the story and systematically tested it to make sure there wasn't any bugs and that the dialogues flowed well enough. For now, all the characters have been introduced, and I need some more time to properly flesh them out.

In the video, you can see the first meeting with Lily (the red-haired girl), some of Cyanna (the "sister"), and Haylen (the "mother").

I don't have much more to say apart from that.^^
