There it is, the “side content update” of HC2. Thank you everyone for your patience : )
The game now contains around 63 scenes (those in several parts counted as one), 13 extra scenes, and 40 freeroam events!
With loads of new freeroam events as well as a reminiscence room, we can now consider the main section of the game fully polished, and I’ll be able to now focus on developing the endings of HC2 and start making HC3.
A lot of the new freeroam events could almost be called “repeatable mini scenes” due to the fact that they’re a bit more complex than most of the freeroam events I’ve been adding thus far. I sincerely hope you will enjoy looking for them. If you don’t want to miss any, refer to the “freeroam events” section at the bottom of the walkthrough, where all of them are listed for each character.
Also, since the reminiscence room is now available, I didn’t add the saves for update 12, except for the one that takes the player to the beginning of said update. However, I will leave the folder containing all the previous saves in the game files.

PS: Since I’ve been adding freeroam events all over the game, and due to the fact that the reminiscence room uses a system that makes it easier to implement but slightly more prone to bug, please don’t hesitate to report anything that isn’t working properly! I’ve been testing every single freeroam and reminiscence scenes, so they should be working fine, but due to the sheer size of the game, it is unfortunately impossible to say if it will always work under every single possible condition and at all times. But I’m ready to fix everything that needs fixing!
PS2: Don’t miss the extra scene of this update! Look outside the MC’s house on Wedath morning after spying on the conversation between Zeno and Edwyr during the last side quest. There will be characters appearing with a red “!” on top of their head, so just talk to them to trigger the scene : )
Added fix1 (12.08.2021): -Not really a "fix", but I added an NPC that pops up in the reminiscence room during the last part of the last main quest and that'll give you the option of unlocking all the scenes you haven't watched.
-Fixed some illogical dialogues in the extra scene of Update 12
Added fix2 (13.08.2021): fixed a bug where the player would fail to be transported back to the reminiscence room after watching some of the extra scenes.
Added fix3 (15.08.2021): fixed a bug that would cause extra scene 7 to not start correctly

I was certain it was Edwyr who took her virginity when I made the it, but now that you're mentioning it, you're entirely right. I'll have to tweak some of the dialogues to fix my mistake. As for the reminiscence room, I had actually planned to add an NPC during the freeroam part of the NTR/non-NTR endings, but I suppose it would make more sense to add them during the last story segment before the endings. Again, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it ; )

2021-08-11 01:45:52 +0000 UTCAnother solid update - not a lot of H or story content (although it sounds like Quest 42 might result in a way for Noah to defeat Edwyr and Zeno without assistance, if the guys can perfect their concoction), but the recollection room is a welcome addition. A couple of minor errors in the Extra Scene. After the game of strip poker, I'm pretty certain Amaria is meant to be the one who says "Come on! You say that, but I know you're just waiting to be alone with Edwyr," but it's attributed to Salkia instead. Also, a continuity error, in that Edwyr and Amaria indicate he was the one to take her virginity, but in the scene where the two of them first have sex she states she actually lost her virginity just before becoming a priestess. I reloaded that old save just to see if maybe you'd changed that, but the dialogue is as I remember it. Also, a minor issue with the save file - several previous scenes that must have been seen (several are unavoidable) are greyed out in the recollection room. You may want to consider doing something a lot of recollection rooms do - once you've beat the game, there's a button/lever you can activate that automatically unlocks all scenes, in case you missed some. That might be easier than setting all the flags right in every save file, but I could be mistaken.
