That Dwayne the Rock Scorpion thing is still considered one of the worst cgi in cinema. They just did not have the technology nor technique to pull it off lol. I watched Corridor Digital talk about what made it so bad and how they would fix it, which was fascinating. The next movie, Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, is considered the worst of the 3, it is also the one that kinda fucked up Brendan Fraser physically. I wouldn't bother with the remake.

2025-03-30 06:10:46 +0000 UTCI thought the third one was fun and different, it is a good popcorn flick to enjoy. However the Tom Cruise remake was pretty bad and not even the “ so bad it good” way.

2025-03-25 10:41:39 +0000 UTCthe animation was pretty bad even at state of the art levels of cgi when it came out. Did not age well but a fun movie to end the series on. The 3rd one does not exist it was just a rumor and that terrible Tom Cruise one was so bad.
