Proof of Life #53: HC2 Update 4 is going to be a tad bit different

Sorry for the delayed post. I know we're not Monday anymore, but I must admit I thought it'd be cool to upload this PoL post at the beginning of the month, so I scheduled it to be published a tad bit later, on the 1st of December (in my timezone).
About HC3 (next game)
So I just wanted to bring clarification to what I wrote last week, especially about combat.
The last thing I'd want to do is bother people with something they don't want to see. This is why, in addition to overpowered gear, I want to bring in a switch to turn random encounters off. That way, those that aren't interested in combat won't be bothered by it (except for a few bosses here and there they can just one shot and be done with it).
If I don't manage to implement the on/off switch, combat will be removed altogether. After all, I just meant to add some variation to the gameplay for those who want it, not to get in the way of people's fun^^
Also, I'm thinking about commissioning someone to take care of any combat-related aspects, like balance and coding battle skills, so I will be able to focus on the rest.
About HC2
In the end, there will only be 1 main quest and 1 side quest in Update 4. But don't worry, this doesn't mean less content, not at all. It just mean that I started the main quest about visiting Forest Elves thinking it'd be over quickly, but I kept adding stuff, and it turned into a whole story arc with its own new characters and sex scenes. So it's one long main quest, and a side quest within the main quest. Since it's a bit different than usual, I'm a bit anxious about you guys' reactions, but I hope you will like it anyway : )
Also, a quick note on sexy outfits: I might not be able to add them in this Update because it won't fit story-wise. Also, the outfits will change gradually. We won't suddenly go from normal attire to extremely slutty clothes, but more like normal - "slightly sexier version of normal" - and finally slutty. So don't panick if you don't necessarily notice huge differences, it is meant that way in order to show a slow and progressive corruption.

Yes, they will all be part of a quest actually. For the main characters, it will be part of the main quests, and for the side chars they will get their edits after progressing with their respective storyline. Of course we will have some reactions from the MC ^^

Also, no side-quests means no involvement of the side-chars in this update either About the outfits, it's actually pretty close to what you said about them changing based on corruption. Except that instead of sudenly becoming really slutty, they will first undergo "slightly slutty" edits once, before changing in sluttier outfits at a later point. Thank you for the comment : )

Also can't wait for the update ^_^ MY fav part was MC being "??" "why is she wearing that" and then slowly accepting her wearing new clothes : P

2020-12-01 13:36:55 +0000 UTCAlthough the update hasn't even been released yet I think that having one really long quest with a side quest inside will still be the normal amount of content with the other updates. As for the whole changing clothes thing, I just imagined that it would be like chapter 1 in the sense that after a certain point of the corruption they would just change outfits, but the idea of them slightly changing as time goes on is alot better in all honesty. Thats just my thoughts keep up the good work!
