Proof of Life #35: Aywin's Portrait

HC2's Facesets
As promised, here's Aywin's portrait! I hope you'll like it!
I didn't specify that in my last PoL post, but there'll be 6 base facesets for each character: Annoyed, Angry, Sad, Happy, Neutral, Sexual Arousal, and Ahegao. I'll probably be adding a few new ones that'll be character specific, but I will be commissioning them as I progress with the development.
By the way, great news: a donor that wishes to stay anonymous was nice enough to pay for Neve, Thania and Solana's facesets, so they'll be getting theirs too! A huge thanks to this person.
However, it'll take a bit of time, and they will probably be added after I release the demo. I want to have Aywin and Celis facesets done first, then the game banner, then Solana, Thania and Neve : )
HC2 Development
It's going well, as always^^ I just finished a mini-game after struggling for almost 2 whole days with it.
The last part of the story till the end of the demo will be a lot more linear than I did so far with the side-quests. It's mainly because the plotline is getting thicker as I develop the game, and adding side-quests everytime would just drag the story more than necessary and maybe make it a bit confusing.
I hope to be able to release an actual demo soon, but I can't give a date yet. I tend to get sidetracked and add new stuff (side-quests, mini-games, extra-dialogues, etc...) and, as a result, the time it takes to develop gets far longer than expected. This is why I'd rather not make promises yet. I hope you'll understand!^^

I've thought about that, and I kinda like the way I've done it thus far. It allows for more story and background on the characters without forcing it on players if they don't care about a certain character and would rather skip their storylines.

If you want to have it as a simple checklist for the story to move along, because you wanna work on the story, then that is totally fine. And then when you feel like opening stuff up reconsider how you can use it best again. etc. portrait looks great! and a big thanks to all donors really!
