Proof of Life #10: Lots of things to say (Please read)

 I have something I wish to apologize for....

-How did I do? I tried to reproduce a Youtube Apology Video in a Patreon post, did I get it right?

Jokes aside, I do have a few things I wish to apologize for first:

1)I felt that the amount of bugs I left in  my first release of Update 2 was downright irrespectful to you guys. Almost no major bugs, yes, but when I did another playtest I found a plethora of little bugs, and this is definitely not what I'm aiming for in my game, so I was quite unhappy with myself there.

I'm sorry if this sounds like an excuse, but I completely underestimated the amount of time it would take to chase after every bugs. Believe me or not, but after 6 hours of straight bug-hunting, I only managed to do major story events. I'll try my best so it doesn't happen next version.

2)The main apology in this post: I'll have to push back the first release of Update 3 to the 1st of March. I don't think I've told you, but I'm currently a university student doing his last year of Master, and the deadline for my thesis is coming up real soon. I've done work on it in parallel with the game, but I'll have to tone down my work on the game so I can finish up writing my thesis (I'm writing something on Japanese society, if you really wanna know^^). This isn't another excuse to make a game on the side like with Merry H-Mas, unfortunately, but trust me, I wish it was.

I had originally planned to do a smaller update and release it on the 20th as planned, but I found that releasing it later with more content would be better, and it would also allow new potential Patrons to not have to be billed twice in less than 10 days (since they're charged upfront). Two birds with one stone!

3)I'll have to remove the Walkthrough benefit for 1$ pledge. I decided it wouldn't be a good idea to lock the walkthrough for public versions behind a paywall, even if it's just 1$. I'll try to find something else to add to that tier : )

I hope you'll forgive me for everything with the little sneak-peek gif I've put together and uploaded on top of this post! : D

Last but not least, it might sound like I'm repeating myself sometimes, but I'm really grateful for your support/nice coments/feedback. So far, I had always been on the receiving end of the creative process, meaning that I was just enjoying things that people created.

Now, I find that having people enjoy what I created is extremely rewarding, so I wanted to thank you for that, so...well...thank you! : )
