Proof of Life #9: See-through Windows

Last development week before the next update!
Not much to report this week. I've done a fair bit of work on the game, and update #2 should be ready for the 20th, as stated in earlier posts.
I've changed a bit Old Gary's cabin's design and replaced the old windows with see-through ones as you can see in the picture. I guess you guys can figure out what that means...^^
I'll upload the next ChooseyourAnimation Poll later today, as I've finished counting down the votes, and I now just need to come up with animations that'll fit with the story.

2020-01-20 04:04:28 +0000 UTCWell, the game's concept is very much based on NTRPG2, and the way the plot unfolds is also pretty similar, and will remain similar until we get to the endings, because the NTR genre's whole premise is rather depressing in itself. Now, will we see the MC fight back? Maybe, but once again, it's the endings who'll decide that : )

2020-01-17 22:42:40 +0000 UTCI have 3 endings planned for the game: a NTR one, a non-NTR one, and a canon one. Some are more depressing than others, but no one's dying though. Also, I'm not sure what depresses you, but non-NTR ending should be more fitting for those who wishes for a happy-ish ending. Hope that answered your question : )

It was more of a challenge to myself truth be told^^ I'm sorry you had to deal with that : ) I'm also still fumbling around trying to find minigames that wouldn't be too much of a drag while still fitting the story. One day I'll get there! : D

I didnt mean all minigames, the city ones were well made, i meant the neyn's shop one, since imo taking the "mysterious package" and just going back to the mansion would be enough. (I mentioned thats just me nitpicking :P) As for the Xmas special, i meant a small end-scene but i wouldnt mind a small sequel :P

I'll adress them in order: for the minigame, do you mean you don't see the point within the story, or as a whole (like, there's no point making a minigame)? Most of the more "interactive" gameplay elements are here to provide the players with some "breathing room" in-between cutscenes, before they go back right into the main back-to-back cutscenes kind of gameplay. Also, they allow me to develop something different once in a while, because 90% of the development is making cutscenes and making/modifiying pixel sprites, so I like to have something different once in a while^^ Merry H-mas was supposed to be a small standalone game that, like Christmas, lasts only for a little while. However, I've gotten a lot of feedback to have more of the after-story, so I'll keep it in the back of my mind and probably get back to it when I have time. For the characters swapping partners/having multiple partners, I have definitely thought about that, and it'll come later. However, I don't plan on having full-on gangbangs with a lot of chars at once until maybe the end of the game. Hope that answered your questions!

I got some nitpicks thought :P In upd1 i dont really see the point of Neyn's shop minigame (unless i missed something) and in the Xmas special I'd really like some after scene showing us how they keep that new lifestyle of theirs (with neighbours or at school etc). Also, i'd like to know if you intend to mix things up eventually and obviously after they are more corupted (like Gary or Neyn with Nestia, Gary - Eleonora, Celestine with the 2 demons, or any of the girls with random ppl from the city)?
