Introducing Female of the month#1 Erica 'Foxy' Starfox

Heh, we'll, like I said, she's not called "Foxy" for nothing. Let's just say,s he's taken her Fox lessons of using cunning far more seriously than her big sister ever did.

Neat! Thanks for the insight. Sounds like she was kinda smothered at home. I'm surprised having so much freedom hasn't gotten her in bigger trouble...then again I suppose she did shoot at federal agents that one time, so I could be wrong.

Yes, I know, the timing and wait has been annoying. (Annoying for me too). Angry Viking Press has been trying to get Extinctioners back into being distributed by Diamond/Previews distribution, but in order to do that, all kinds of hurdles have to be crossed. The most annoying of which is their wanting trade paper backs rather than individual comic issues from independent companies. The plan when I joined AVP was to have the first story collected with a new version of Vol1 #1 done (since I no longer had many of the original page art for it), but once Diamond say the new art in the Origins books, they wanted me to redraw the whole original story for distributing instead of just collecting the original. This of course has put me behind on the regular series because I have to now redraw the first story with newer content instead of just doing fully new stories (The transition from SFA to AVP has not been ideal on all fronts as far as my story making plans). BUT, I can say #18 is almost done with being colored (How it'll be distributed though atm I'm not sure), but unfortuantely once that's done, I have to illustrate Origins #3 BEFORE I can start on Ex #19. Fortunately though, the plan, with the help of Patreon is to now spend my time and focus doing that work with all of your support rather than doing the side jobs of random commissions like I've been doing. So I'm looking for 2016 to be far more Extinctioners centric in my art production than it's been before, because this has been pushing me to make more Extinctioners content. Hopefully at some point, I would like to collect all the desktop images and make one of those Art books I see some other artist put together.

Which would bring me to my next unrelated question... will there BE a 19-21? It's been a few years since an issue came out. We spoke at Anthrocon 2 years ago, and I remember us discussing that si far, your Humanimals have NEVER been handed a loss (well there was Alopex..but I meant on a more personal level) Something where the Bad guys actually achieve a goal (perhaps without Death and brutality?) and I remember your answer >:)

Lordgriffin

Oh, ok, I understand your question now. Well yes, there will be something rather unique and special about a humaimals response to an actual human. BUT, I don't want to get too much into it because it'd definitely be a story spoiler point for issues 19-21.

Ebonyleopard

Hmmm Well I wasn't really asking about "banging" but I do find your answer a LITTLE sad. I see most other species at least attractive, and I definitely get the whole scent Body fitness etc, but I woudl have thought there was something to say for Exotic...in any case interesting replies...thanx. I suppose if *I* were a maker..much as Canines seem to like Humans in real life, I woudl have designed in a genetic interest in Human Scent, body fitness..etc... after all the makers wanted the Humanimals to desire to serve them (speaking on a strictly servant basis..not everything is about mounting)

Lordgriffin

Well, Warfare and Umnus are the most alien like things humanimals like Erica have seen, but it really didn't phase them. With having so many different species on the planet, it's not as though it'd be unreasonable to say at some point in your life you'd run into a new one you've never met or seen before. I would think humans would come off as looking a little strange with their lack of tails and 'spotted fur'. They would definitely be a curiosity to say the least, but as far as attractive? Probably not. Each species has their own ideas on beauty. Fitness of body, sheen or thickness and keep of fur. Scent even. It's more of a combo of things. Now take Seek, with sight not being something for her, other things would be on her list of what's attractive to her. Foxy might find a young human cute, but bangable? Probably not for her.

Ebonyleopard

Well I guess that's an answer, You make a point, seeing the "Cyborgs" and "Robots" would be no reason to think THAT is what the maker's look like....Though i am still curious about the author's thoughts...in general (As I know every individual have their own tastes) would the view Makers as, horrific blunt faced aliens? or more as erotic beautiful beings that are likely incredibly tactile and sensual due to lack of fur (and tail) And what about Foxy?

Lordgriffin

Erica grew up the "baby" of the family so she was pretty spoiled and lived life pretty carefree. She never had the expectations or issues with the tragedy of her brother that Scarlet did and she grew up seeing Scarlet working hard and trying to be the top of everything so seeing her develop powers wasn't as big deal to her either. The real problem was the over protectiveness tendencies all of her family throw towards her. She wasn't allowed to do much that would be considered "dangerous" and she always had Scarlet to fight her battles for her. That's where her love of firearms comes from. It wasn't something her family wanted her to be doing, which of course, only made her want to do it more. While she does want a 'normal life' the truth of the matter is Foxy is a bit of a thrill seeker, so it's not really sure if "normal" would settle well with her for very long. As for the shower scene pics (which I guess I can post), I like to think of those as canon. Foxy is incredibly mischievous, hence her nickname,

Ebonyleopard

Aside the Hunter Robots and cyborgs, Erica has never actually laid eyes on a Maker. To humanimals the identities of Makers have gone they way of myth and speculation, often with them being rooted visually according to their own species.

Ebonyleopard

How does she deal with her sister and most of her close friends being superpowered? She's not quite a "normal" herself given her training and skills, but she's a lot closer to it than the Hybrids. Hmm, what else. She's said she wants a normal life before, but does she enjoy what she does for her 'day job?' When's the wedding?! Oh, and did those amusing post-shower/dressing pics actually happen, or are they just fun and titillating for the crowd? XD

UltraFennec

Ask what I want? Hmmm I know Makers are being asses, but if it weren't for that..does she find the physical FORM of a maker male attractive? I have often wondered, we view "angels" as kinda the pinicale of attractive...does Erica and The Humanimals do the same for Makers? or are we ugly?
